Match the screen

Flat screen or tube? Start with the shape.

The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.

Flat-screen TVs

Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.

Tube TVs

An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.

TV stands and other electronics

The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Text us about your setup
  1. Arrange any unmounting first.

Dropcurb does not remove TVs from walls or do indoor carrying. Arrange the help you need before pickup day, including the trip down interior stairs or through an elevator.

  2. Choose a permitted outdoor spot.

Use a stable, accessible location with a clear path for loading. Keep the TV separate from anything staying. Check building rules before placing it in a shared pickup area.

  3. Show us the TV that is going.

Add a location photo and access notes after booking. Follow the readiness instructions in your confirmation. For exposed broken glass or unusual damage, send a photo and check with us before booking.

Televisions, computers and small electronics

Accepted with preparation

The city's own electronics recycling event takes televisions, monitors, computers and the rest of its published list, and cathode ray tube televisions carry a published charge at that event.

City cost & eligibility
The city publishes a charge for cathode ray tube televisions at its own event and no fee for the rest of the accepted electronics, and the county states that fees and material limits apply at its special waste sites. Confirm the device and the current charge before the event or the trip.
When & how
The 2026 city event is Tuesday, October 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. behind Fire Station 1 at 800 SW A Street, entered from SW A Street, and pre-registration is required. County special waste sites take electronics on their own published days.
Get it ready
Residents must live inside the corporate limits, addresses are verified before the event, and the resident brings an ID showing the verified address. Cathode ray tube televisions are accepted with the published charge. The Compost Facility no longer takes electronics, so nothing goes to 2000 NW A Street.

Drop household items at a county special waste site

Benton County residents with furniture, appliances, electronics, metal items, tires or household hazardous materials that the city routes do not take.

Cost & conditions
The county states that fees and material limits apply at its special waste sites but does not publish the amounts on the page. Confirm the item, the fee and the site hours with the district at (479) 795-0751.
Arrange it
Use a district special waste drop-off during its published window, such as Centerton at 5702 Brookside Rd on Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and noon to 3:00 p.m., Rogers at 2307 N Arkansas St on Tuesday to Friday and the second and fourth Saturdays, or Siloam Springs at 1108 E Ashley St on the first and third Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Fees and material limits apply, all sites close on state holidays, and the district warns that locations may close for severe weather with a notice posted by phone and on its social page. Building material is not taken here and has to go to a transfer station or landfill.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Bentonville runs the curbside routes through Republic Services, and the cart service is only for trash and recycling. Large items take a request: email Bulk401@RepublicServices.com with one item per household per week, a separate request for each item, and a Friday noon deadline for the following week. Yard waste never goes in the trash cart and belongs at the city compost facility at 2000 NW A Street. Electronics go to the city's recycling event in October or to a Benton County special waste site, and the county district is also the route for appliances, metal and household hazardous material, with fees and material limits. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

TV removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Bentonville.

How much does TV removal cost in Bentonville?

A flat-screen TV under 42 inches is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Larger flat screens and tube TVs have their own prices. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Choose the type that matches your TV and review your total, including any applicable tax, before payment.

Can I get same-day TV pickup in Bentonville?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates offered at checkout and have the TV outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done.

Will Dropcurb remove my TV from the wall or carry it downstairs?

You arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at an accessible outdoor location, where we load your TV and take it away. If you need help removing a mounted TV or moving a heavy tube TV outside, arrange that separately before your pickup day.

Do you pick up old tube or CRT televisions?

Yes. Choose Tube TV for an older television with curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Its price is $249 as the first item and $249 as an additional item. A rear-projection television is a different item; send a photo before booking rather than choosing the tube-TV option.

Does my old TV have to work?

Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.

Where do Bentonville residents recycle televisions and computers?

At the city's ShredIt and Electronics Recycling event, or at a Benton County special waste drop-off site. The 2026 city event is Tuesday, October 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. behind Fire Station 1 at 800 SW A Street, requires pre-registration, and is open to residents inside the corporate limits. Televisions, monitors, computers, laptops, printers and similar devices are accepted, and cathode ray tube televisions carry a published charge. The Compost Facility no longer accepts electronics.Official guidance
