Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

  1. Arrange the removal work

Have the fixture safely detached and any plumbing or electrical connections handled by an appropriate professional. We do not remove installed fixtures or perform demolition.

  2. Keep the booked items separate

Have the fixtures empty and ready at ground level. Keep them apart from rubble, loose renovation materials, tools and anything you want to keep.

  3. Show the outdoor handoff

Use a permitted outdoor spot with a clear path. Add a location photo and notes on your order page so the right entrance and the right items are easy to identify.

Construction and demolition debris

Special rules apply

The city does not publish a curbside route for construction and demolition debris, so the material moves through the regional landfill or a scheduled removal instead.

City cost & eligibility
Landfill pricing is set by ordinance and depends on the vehicle and the account, and the city does not publish a curbside rate for construction debris, so confirm the amount before you haul.
When & how
Outside the weekly trash and yard waste routes.
Get it ready
Sort the load and confirm the route before hauling: the regional landfill takes debris from its listed counties for a fee, while household bulky removal is booked separately on 479-784-2350.

City of Fort Smith Department of Solid Waste Services

Self-haul to the Fort Smith Regional Sanitary Landfill

Best for construction and demolition debris, brush loads and mixed material that the curb service will not take.

Cost & conditions
$12.47 for the discounted cash price for landfill debris delivered in a standard pickup truck, car or SUV by a Fort Smith resident. The resident discount requires an active, in-good-standing residential sanitation account and applies to standard pickup trucks, cars and SUVs. Vehicles pulling trailers, and any other vehicle type, do not qualify and pay the ordinance rates instead.
Arrange it
Take the load to the regional landfill during operating hours and bring proof of the qualifying sanitation account. Rates are set by Fort Smith Municipal Code and the annual ordinance, and the landfill takes debris only from its listed Arkansas and Oklahoma counties.

Tires are refused unless they are cut and quartered, appliances containing Freon are refused, and the discount does not apply to a trailer or any vehicle other than a standard pickup, car or SUV.

Fort Smith landfill rates and hours

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Tires are refused unless cut and quartered, appliances that still hold Freon are refused, and trailers do not qualify for the resident rate. Glass can be recycled at the landfill, and household computers go through the county district drop-off there. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Fort Smith.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Fort Smith?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Fort Smith?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does construction debris go in Fort Smith?

Is there a resident discount at the Fort Smith landfill?

Yes, for Fort Smith residents with an active sanitation account who deliver debris in a standard pickup truck, car or SUV. Trailers and other vehicle types do not qualify, and those loads pay the ordinance rates instead.Official guidance
