Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction, demolition and building material

Special rules apply

Building material and construction debris is refused by the garbage bin, and the city flyer lists it among the items that can be scheduled for collection by calling the Sanitation Department or taken to a recycling location. The city publishes no construction facility, fee or dedicated collection day.

City cost & eligibility
No construction and demolition rate, facility or collection day is published, so confirm the route, the accepted material and any charge with the Sanitation Department at 501-371-8340 before the material goes out.
When & how
Call 501-371-8340 to arrange the collection rather than putting the material out with the garbage or the bulky pass, because the bin refuses it and no dedicated collection day is published.
Get it ready
The city defines construction and demolition debris as nonhazardous, uncontaminated material from construction or demolition, including bricks, concrete, rocks, insulation, plaster, drywall, glass and roofing. Keep it out of the bin and out of the green waste pile, and confirm the load with the department before it leaves the property.

What the bin refuses, and where those items go

Yard waste, building material and construction debris, lumber and shingles, household chemicals, medical waste, used oil, paint, electronics, appliances, fire residue, masonry and automotive material all stay out of the garbage bin. The city flyer says items on that list can be scheduled for collection by calling 501-371-8340 or dropped at a recycling location, electronics and household chemicals have their own drop-off window at 13th and Sycamore, and freon appliances are handled by a local recycler instead.

City of North Little Rock Sanitation Department

Call sanitation to schedule what the bin refuses

A household with building material, construction debris or another refused item that the city flyer says can be scheduled rather than dropped.

Cost & conditions
The city publishes no rate for a scheduled collection of refused material, so confirm the route, the accepted material and any charge with the Sanitation Department at 501-371-8340 when you call.
Arrange it
Call 501-371-8340 during office hours, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., describe the material and follow the placement instruction you are given.

This is the flyer's route for items the bin refuses, and it covers building material and construction debris among others. No facility, fee or dedicated collection day is published, and freon appliances are not part of the city route at all.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

North Little Rock works from the curb for most household material: the garbage bin takes bagged waste, and a second pass one day after the garbage day takes green waste plus bulky items such as furniture, mattresses, carpet, appliances without freon, toilets and lawnmowers with the engine removed, as long as the two piles stay three feet apart. For the material that never rides those passes there are three published drop routes and one that the city closed. Electronics, household batteries, used oil, old gasoline, antifreeze and fluorescent bulbs go to 13th and Sycamore at the Public Works Complex during its Tuesday morning and third Saturday window, though the sanitation page prints a different address for household chemicals and adds a Tuesday afternoon window. Tires go to the special pickup at 371-8345 or to Davis Rubber Company on East 15th Street in Little Rock, with per-tire fees published by the city. Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners have no city route at all since July 24, 2025, when the department stopped accepting or collecting them because of landfill policy on freon and named Tennenbaum Recycling and Reeves Recyclers instead. Construction and demolition material has no published facility or rate: the bin refuses it and the city flyer says such items can be scheduled by calling 501-371-8340, so the load has to be confirmed with the department before it is moved. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in North Little Rock.

How much does construction debris removal cost in North Little Rock?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in North Little Rock?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Can construction debris go in the North Little Rock garbage bin?

No. Building materials, construction debris, lumber, shingles and rocks are on the refuse list for the garbage bin, and the city flyer says items on that list can be scheduled for collection by calling 501-371-8340 or dropped off at a recycling location. The city publishes no construction facility or rate, so confirm the route first.Official guidance

Who do I call about trash, bulky items or tires in North Little Rock?

Call the Sanitation Department at 501-371-8340, or email nlrsanitation@nlr.ar.gov. The office is at 1120 Sycamore Street and is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tires are a special pickup at 371-8345, curbside recycling questions go to Waste Management at 501-565-0191 or wmcares@wm.com, and the Regional Recycling District answers general recycling questions at 501-340-8787.Official guidance

What happens if I mix leaves and furniture in one pile?

The first failure to separate green waste from bulky items brings a written notification, and a second failure brings a 50 dollar fee assessed on the utility bill. Keep the piles three feet apart, with green waste such as leaves, grass clippings, branches and untreated lumber in its own pile, and put the bulky items out only one day before the collection.Official guidance

Where do paint, oil and household chemicals go in North Little Rock?

The sanitation page lists a household chemical drop-off at 418 West 13th Street on Tuesdays from 7 to 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and the third Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon, while the recycling page and the city's electronics sheet both print the same drop-off at 13th and Sycamore at the Public Works Complex. The sanitation page says no paint, car batteries or fluorescent bulbs longer than 4 feet are accepted there, so confirm the address and the item before loading. Empty paint cans can go in the garbage, and wet paint should be dried out first.Official guidance

When do the leaf trucks come through North Little Rock?

Bagged leaves get a scheduled weekly pickup, while loose leaves on the curb wait for the vacuum trucks, which make about three runs through the city each season. Call 501-371-8340 and choose option 1 for the current location of the trucks, or watch the city Facebook page, and keep leaves out of the street and gutter because the program exists to keep them out of the storm drains.Official guidance
