Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and renovation debris

Not on the regular city route

Roofing and construction material is refused by the Neighborhood Cleanup, along with stumps, concrete and dirt, and the city publishes no other curbside route for a renovation load.

City cost & eligibility
The city publishes no construction tipping fee. The recycling drop-off at the Republic Services Transfer Station states only that regular trash is charged for, and the city does not publish an accepted material list for a construction load, so confirm the material and the price with the site or a private hauler before loading.
When & how
Keep construction material off the curb and out of the cleanup pile. Contact the Republic Services Transfer Station or a private container company to arrange a self-haul or delivered box.
Get it ready
Do not set construction material out on a regular trash day or during the Neighborhood Cleanup, because the city refuses roofing and construction material, tree stumps, concrete and dirt with the bulk pile. Cover and secure a self-hauled load, and confirm the material is accepted before the trip.

What the cleanup will not take

Roofing and construction material, tree stumps, concrete and dirt, tires with rims, abandoned or commercial vehicles and farm equipment are all refused. Household hazardous waste such as motor oil, pesticides and other chemicals never belongs in the cleanup pile, and commercial dumping is not allowed. Move those items to a household hazardous waste event or a private route instead.

For your Dropcurb pickup

Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Self-haul recycling or an overflow load to the transfer station

A resident or visitor not served by curbside collection, or a household with a load larger than the blue container can hold.

Cost & conditions
The city page states that recyclables are accepted free of charge but that regular trash is charged for. No rate is published and no accepted material list is given for a mixed or construction load, so confirm the price and the material with the scale operator before loading.
Arrange it
Drive to the Republic Services Transfer Station at 3040 S. Avenue 3 1/2 E, tell the scale operator that you are dropping off recycling, and bring only recyclables if you want the free recycling drop-off.

Open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon, closed Sunday. Only recyclables travel free; anything else is charged as regular trash, so a construction or mixed load must be confirmed first.

Order a private container for renovation debris

A household or contractor with roofing, concrete, drywall or other construction material that no city route will collect.

Cost & conditions
No public rate covers a private box, because the company quotes its own price for the container, the haul and the disposal. Confirm the rate and the accepted material before ordering.
Arrange it
Contact a licensed container or hauling company to place the box, and have the same company collect it when the work is finished.

The Neighborhood Cleanup refuses roofing and construction material, stumps, concrete and dirt, and household hazardous waste still needs the collection event route rather than a box.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Yuma has one city named self-haul site and one annual curbside route. The Recycling Drop Off moved to the Republic Services Transfer Station at 3040 S. Avenue 3 1/2 E, open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon and closed Sunday; tell the scale operator you are dropping off recycling and bring only recyclables, because regular trash is charged for and no rate is published. For bulky household items, the Neighborhood Cleanup comes to the curb instead, so there is nothing to haul: check the area dates, keep piles separated and light, and hold construction material, hazardous waste and anything commercial for a private route or a household hazardous waste event at 1473 S 2nd Avenue. Recycling drop-off and self-haul transfer station named by the city

Republic Services Transfer Station

3040 S. Avenue 3 1/2 E, Yuma, AZ

The city names this site as its recycling drop-off, and the accepted materials match the curbside list: cardboard, paper, plastics types 1 through 7, glass, and aluminum and steel cans.

Tell the scale operator that you are dropping off recycling and bring only recyclables, because anything else is charged as regular trash. The city publishes no rate and no accepted material list beyond recyclables, so confirm a construction or mixed load before travel.

Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon, closed Sunday.

The city states that regular trash is charged for at this site without publishing a rate, and recyclables are dropped off at no charge. Confirm the price for any non-recyclable load with the scale operator.

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Yuma.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Yuma?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Yuma?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Can construction debris go out with the Yuma cleanup?

No. Roofing and construction material, tree stumps, concrete and dirt are all on the unacceptable list for the Neighborhood Cleanup, and the city publishes no curbside route for a renovation load. The city recycling drop-off at the Republic Services Transfer Station charges for regular trash, so confirm the accepted material and the price there or with a private hauler first.Official guidance

Who collects trash and bulky items in Yuma?

The City of Yuma Public Works Department Solid Waste Division runs the service itself for single family and multi-unit homes. Trash routes run Mondays and Tuesdays and recycling routes run Thursdays and Fridays, each household gets one 90-gallon garbage container and one 90-gallon recycling container, and bulky household items wait for the annual Neighborhood Cleanup rather than going out with the regular truck.Official guidance
