What to do with the old toilet
If you are replacing a toilet through Home Depot’s professional installation service, the service can include removal and disposal of the old toilet. Do not assume that disposal means recycling.
For recycling, check with your local water authority about facilities that accept toilets. This is different from returning the toilet to a Home Depot store.
Before a self-haul trip, check how to choose a bulky-item drop-off facility for the exact material.
