Why a couch needs separate confirmation
Pickup Please’s small-furniture rule is based on whether one person can handle the item. A couch is typically larger and heavier than the small furniture covered by that rule, so do not treat acceptance of a small table as approval for a sofa or large dresser. Check the local operator and item together.
For a couch that the small-furniture program cannot take, compare local ReStore couch-donation requirements before arranging another move.

Where Dropcurb fits
For an accepted standard sofa or medium dresser already outside and accessible, Dropcurb handles loading, transportation and disposal. You can book before moving the item outside, but it must be outdoors and accessible before pickup. If you need someone to carry furniture out from indoors, use a service that includes indoor carrying.
