Cerritos residents have a franchise hauler rather than a city transfer station. Batteries and fluorescent light bulbs drop at the E-Recycling of California facility at 7230 Petterson Lane in Paramount at no additional charge, and household hazardous waste goes to a Los Angeles County round-up event, which is scheduled through (888) CLEAN-LA. For material that the weekly carts and the free bulky pickup cannot take, the City's residential rate sheet publishes container options, including a three cubic yard clean-up bin and a roll-off pull with a six ton limit, both with disposal included.
