We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.
Doors
Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction material is not on the hauler's bulky list, which names household items that a two-person crew can handle. CR&R sells bins and larger containers for clean-up projects instead.
City cost & eligibility
CR&R publishes a three yard temporary bin with a 500 pound limit and larger containers from 10 to 40 yards, but no rates, so the container has to be quoted. Additional bulky pickups beyond the two free ones are also described only as a nominal charge.
When & how
Order the bin or container from CR&R for the project rather than putting material at the curb, because the bulky allowance covers household items and the carts are only for refuse, recyclables and organics.
Get it ready
Keep construction material out of all three carts and out of the bulky pile, keep hazardous items such as paint and oil with the county programme, and note the three yard bin's 500 pound limit when planning a small project.
Carts out by 6 a.m., one foot apart and clear of obstructions
Carts go to the curb no later than 6:00 a.m. on the collection day, side by side about one foot apart and at least three feet from any obstruction such as a car, a fire hydrant or a tree, with the handles and wheels facing the home. Containers come back in within 12 hours of service, and anything not inside a container is not collected. The black container is refuse, the grey one is recyclables and the green one is green and yard waste, and service shifts by a day for the remainder of any week with a holiday in it.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

A household with paint, stains, antifreeze, batteries, used motor oil and filters, tires, sharps, or electronic waste such as televisions and computers.
Cost & conditions
No charge. The county describes its permanent household hazardous waste facilities and its temporary one and two day events as a free and environmentally safe way for Riverside County residents to dispose of or recycle hazardous household waste, and it also runs free antifreeze, battery, oil and PaintCare facilities plus free sharps kiosks and community clean-up events.
Arrange it
Find the nearest permanent facility or upcoming temporary event on the county waste resources page and take the material there during its published hours, which are closed on designated county holidays.
The antifreeze, battery, oil and PaintCare sites accept only those materials, and the county publishes the facilities and events rather than a single Lake Elsinore address, so the location has to be checked before loading.
A household or contractor with construction material or more than two items per pickup, or with a project that produces debris the carts cannot take.
