The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

A Redwood City bulky appointment covers one of four loads: twelve 32-gallon bags of garbage, recyclables or compost with loose material bagged, boxed or bundled, under 60 pounds each and no more than two cubic yards; one large appliance such as a washing machine, clothes dryer or household refrigerator; one bulky item such as a mattress and box spring, furniture, or four tires without rims; or one electronic waste item such as a computer monitor, microwave or television.
Residential customers receive two curbside bulky item appointments a calendar year at no additional charge, taken on the regular collection day, and appointments can be scheduled from February 1 through December 31. They do not carry over from one year to the next, extra collections can be arranged for a fee, and a tenant in a multi-family building arranges the pickup through the property manager.

Schedule the appointment with Recology San Mateo County for a date between February 1 and December 31, and put the load out on the regular collection day.
One load shape per appointment, no carryover between years, tenants arranging through the property manager, and a refusal list that includes construction and demolition debris, hazardous waste, treated wood, anything over five feet and items over 200 pounds.
