The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

No charge. Orange County provides four household hazardous waste collection centers where Yorba Linda residents drop off household hazardous waste, including e-waste, free of charge.
When & how
Take electronics to any of the County collection centers, open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The closest center the City names is the Anaheim Collection Center at 1071 N Blue Gum Street.
Get it ready
Electronics are treated as household hazardous waste rather than trash, so they do not go in the black cart. The City's own hazardous list includes e-waste, and sharps must be in a puncture-proof container.
Three carts, and hazardous material stays out of all of them
Single-family homes use a green cart for green waste and food waste, a blue cart for recycling and a black cart for everything else. The City states the black cart takes regular waste only and excludes household hazardous material such as paint and oil, and Republic collects the material weekly.
A holiday on or before the service day shifts the whole week
When the scheduled weekly service day falls on or after one of the major holidays, service is delayed by one day for the remainder of the week. On all other holidays, collection continues as normally scheduled.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
