Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and remodeling debris

Special rules apply

Construction debris is refused for the curbside pickup but smaller material is accepted at the drop off events when it is bagged.

City cost & eligibility
The City refuses construction debris on the on-demand bulk pickup list and publishes no rate for project material. The drop off events ask that smaller materials such as construction debris be bagged within the five item limit, so confirm with the Waste and Recycling Program at 720-898-7575 how a specific load should be handled before hauling it.
When & how
Take small amounts to a bulky item drop off event on one of the three published Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., or arrange a container or hauling through a licensed provider for a project load.
Get it ready
Bag small pieces, because the events require smaller materials such as construction debris to be bagged, and keep cement, dirt, rocks, bricks, glass and chemicals out of the load because all of them are refused.

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Arvada.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Arvada?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Arvada?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Will Arvada take construction debris?

Construction debris is on the unacceptable list for the on-demand curbside bulk pickup. At the City's drop off events, smaller materials such as construction debris are accepted when they are bagged, within the five item limit, while cement, dirt, rocks and bricks stay out because they are refused.Official guidance

Can metal from a project be recycled?

The drop off events added a metal recycling stream that takes aluminum and aluminum siding and gutters, iron, rolled chain link fence, lead, copper, zinc, brass and alloys, cast iron, steel and stainless steel, metal lids, metal chairs and tables, ladders, pipes, metal plumbing fixtures, electrical cords, window frames without glass and sheet metal. Space is limited, so metal may go to the other bins once capacity is met.Official guidance

Who runs trash collection in Arvada?

Arvada runs a citywide waste and recycling program under its organized waste hauling ordinance, with service coordinated through the City service line at 720-898-7575 and billed monthly on the bi-monthly water and trash bill. City Hall is at 8101 Ralston Road.Official guidance

Why do I pay even if I use another hauler?

The minimum service level fee applies to all residents because the program is meant to benefit the whole community, and a lower minimum rate was negotiated for residents who hire a different hauler. The fee mostly passes to the contracted hauler, with a smaller share funding the bulky item and leaf drop off events and the billing system, and non-payment may result in a lien even though water service continues.Official guidance

Do I have to recycle in Arvada?

The organized waste hauling ordinance requires eligible households to have access to curbside recycling and a recycling cart is provided, and other licensed haulers have to offer recycling too. Residents can choose not to place the recycling cart out, but the cart is part of the program.Official guidance

Where do hard to recycle items go?

The City names two partners: Rooney Road Recycling Center at 151 South Rooney Road in Golden for household hazardous waste by appointment on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and SustainAbility, whose Arvada center at 6340 W 56th Avenue takes hard to recycle items including electronics and mattresses for a fee.Official guidance
