Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and demolition debris

Special rules apply

Wood, concrete, drywall, siding, dirt and shingles are accepted at the Front Range Landfill at the published construction tonnage rate with a minimum on a light load, and shingles-only loads share that rate. Clean soil, sod and mulch carry a lower rate, and larger tear-outs usually move in a roll-off from one of the haulers the Town lists.

City cost & eligibility
From $98 per ton of wood, concrete, drywall, siding, dirt or shingles at the Front Range Landfill, with the published minimum charged on a small load. Any household or contractor delivering construction debris to the Front Range Landfill in Erie, on the fee schedule effective December 1, 2024.
When & how
Construction loads arrive during scale hours, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. A roll-off is scheduled with a hauler, and the landfill closes in high winds or severe weather.
Get it ready
Separate clean soil, sod and mulch from mixed debris to get the lower rate, tarp the load, and keep liquids, paint and hazardous waste out of the material, because all three are refused.

Right item.

Tarp and secure any load before driving it to the landfill

The Front Range Landfill requires every load to be covered or tarped so that nothing can fly out or become airborne, and state rules mean an uncovered or unsecured load is charged double at the scale. All vehicles weigh in and weigh out, and anyone who steps out of the vehicle has to wear a safety vest, which can be bought at the site.

Curbside collection in Firestone is a private subscription, not a town route

The Town of Firestone does not run a municipal collection route, so a household either subscribes with one of the haulers in the Town's disposal guide or takes the load to the landfill itself. The Town's guide lists local companies that collect bulky items, run roll-offs, haul residential trash and remove yard waste, and each one sets its own rates and its own list of accepted items.

One free landfill load for large household items

Cost & conditions

Arrange it
Pick the voucher up at the Greeley household hazardous waste facility, the Dacono facility or the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment in Greeley, then take the load to the Front Range, North Weld or Buffalo Ridge landfill.

One load up to one ton, and any extra weight or volume is billed to the resident at the scale. The voucher expires on October 31, 2026 and the county issues a limited number of them.

With a new purchase

A private hauler collects bulky items from the curb

A household that wants a couch, a mattress or a load of junk taken from the curb instead of driving it to the landfill.

Cost & conditions
Each hauler quotes its own bulky item, roll-off and subscription prices. The Town publishes the list of companies serving Firestone rather than setting their rates.
Arrange it
Contact a company from the Town's disposal guide and ask for a bulky item collection, a roll-off or a residential subscription.

There is no town rate and no town route to fall back on, and each hauler decides which items it will take, so confirm the item and the price before pickup day.

The Front Range Landfill at 1830 Weld County Road 5 in Erie takes household loads from the public and from haulers, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a published tonnage rate on garbage, separate per-item fees for a couch, a mattress and a white good, and flat fees for a car load or a pickup load. Loads have to be tarped or secured, because an uncovered load is charged double, the site allows no picking or salvaging, and proof of residency is only needed when a town free landfill day is being used. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Firestone.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Firestone?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Firestone?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

How does the landfill price construction debris?

Wood, concrete, drywall, siding, dirt and shingles are charged at one published rate per ton with a minimum on a light load, and a shingles-only load is charged at that same rate. Clean soil, sod and mulch are charged at a lower rate per ton with a smaller minimum.Official guidance

Who collects trash and bulky items in Firestone?

The Town of Firestone does not run a municipal collection route. The Town publishes a recycling and disposal guide that lists the private haulers serving Firestone, including companies that collect bulky items, run roll-offs, haul residential trash and take yard waste, so a household either subscribes with one of them or takes its own load to the Front Range Landfill.Official guidance

Can a Firestone household take its own items to the landfill?

Yes. The Front Range Landfill at 1830 Weld County Road 5 in Erie is open to the general public and to haulers from any location, and proof of residency is not required unless a household is using a town free landfill drop-off day. Every load has to be tarped or secured or the scale charges double.Official guidance

Is there a free way to get rid of large items in Weld County?

Weld County issues a limited number of large item disposal vouchers that cover one free truck or trailer load, up to one ton, at the Front Range, North Weld or Buffalo Ridge landfill. The program runs from March 2, 2026 through October 31, 2026, and vouchers are picked up at the county household hazardous waste facilities in Dacono and Greeley or at the county health department in Greeley.Official guidance
