Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and demolition debris

Not on the regular city route

Building demolition, land clearing and contractor work are expressly outside the city bulk waste service, so property owners and contractors use the building's private service or one of the two licensed commercial haulers.

City cost & eligibility
The city excludes contractor and demolition material from the bulk service and publishes no rate for the private haulers, so each licensed commercial hauler sets its own container and hauling price. Confirm the container size, the hauling charge and the receiving site with the hauler before the work starts.
When & how
Contact the service provider for the building, or one of the two licensed commercial haulers the city lists: Waste Management of Dade County at 8801 NW 91 Street in Medley on 786-450-5699, or Waste Connection at 3840 NW 37 Court in Miami on 305.638.3800.
Get it ready
Keep construction material out of the bulk pile and out of the free monthly drop-off, because both refuse demolition and contractor waste, and keep paint, chemicals, tires and car parts out of the load. Buildings with nine units or more have to use their own private service rather than the city bulk contract.
Bulk waste pickup page with the Waste Connections contract and booking number, the six free pickups a year, the 24 hour set-out rule, the bulk waste definition covering furniture, appliances and remodeling material, the exclusions for demolition, contractor work, tires and chemicals, the nine unit building rule, the yard trash limits and the fine scheduleCommercial waste haulers page with the two licensed private haulers, their addresses and phone numbers and the rule that private waste covers apartments, condos and commercial propertySanitation Division page with the contracted residential collection, the division phone and after hours line, the free monthly bulk drop-off at two sites with its proof of residency rule and 2026 dates, and the refusal of chemicals, tires, paints and car parts at the drop-off

What counts as bulk waste, and what does not

Bulk waste covers large bush and tree cuttings and yard trash that cannot be canned, bagged or bundled in four foot lengths, household appliances such as ranges, water heaters and refrigerators with the doors removed, do-it-yourself remodeling material including carpeting cut to six foot lengths, drywall and lumber no longer than five feet or 40 pounds, and furniture including sofas, chairs and mattresses. It does not include tree removal, land clearing, building demolition, chemical waste, paint, automobiles and automotive parts, tires, batteries, boats, biological waste or any work done by a contractor.

Buildings and contractors use their own service

Buildings with nine units or more on private garbage collection have to contact their own service provider for bulk and yard waste pickup instead of using the city contract, and the city licenses two private haulers for apartments, condos and commercial property: Waste Management of Dade County on 786-450-5699 and Waste Connection on 305.638.3800. Recycling for commercial or private trash service is arranged by the building owner or association, and contractor and demolition material has to be disposed of through that private service rather than the city bulk pile.

Through your building

When your building or contractor arranges the collection

A condo or apartment building with nine units or more, or a property whose renovation material the city bulk service refuses.

Cost & conditions
The two licensed commercial haulers set their own container and hauling prices and the city publishes no rate for them, so confirm the container size and the charge with the provider before the work starts.
Arrange it
Ask the building's service provider, or contact one of the two licensed commercial haulers the city lists: Waste Management of Dade County at 8801 NW 91 Street in Medley on 786-450-5699, or Waste Connection at 3840 NW 37 Court in Miami on 305.638.3800. Recycling for private service is arranged by the building owner or association.

This route serves private waste, meaning apartments, condos and commercial establishments, and it is the required route for buildings with nine units or more and for contractor or demolition material that the city bulk service will not touch. Nothing here is arranged by the city.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Miami Beach contracts residential garbage and recycling to a private hauler and contracts bulk waste and yard trash to Waste Connections of Florida, which takes the scheduling calls on 786.515.2726. Each property is entitled to six free bulk pickups a year, bulk waste goes out no more than 24 hours before the pickup, and the accepted list covers furniture including sofas, chairs and mattresses, appliances such as ranges, water heaters and refrigerators with the doors removed, do-it-yourself remodeling material with carpeting cut to six foot lengths and drywall or lumber under five feet and 40 pounds, and yard cuttings that cannot be bundled in four foot lengths. Tree removal, land clearing, building demolition, contractor work, chemicals, paint, auto parts, tires, batteries and boats are outside the service, and buildings with nine units or more use their own private provider. The city also runs a free bulk drop-off on the first weekend of every month from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 140 MacArthur Causeway on Terminal Isle and at 75 Street and Dickens Avenue, with proof of residency and no chemicals, tires, paint or car parts in the dumpsters. Household chemicals and electronics go to a city collection event three times a year at the 40 Street and Chase Avenue lot or to the two Miami-Dade County Home Chemical Collection Centers, West Dade on 8801 NW 58 Street in Doral and South Dade on 23707 SW 97th Ave in Homestead, both open Wednesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bulk waste pickup page with the Waste Connections contract and booking number, the six free pickups a year, the 24 hour set-out rule, the bulk waste definition covering furniture, appliances and remodeling material, the exclusions for demolition, contractor work, tires and chemicals, the nine unit building rule, the yard trash limits and the fine scheduleSanitation Division page with the contracted residential collection, the division phone and after hours line, the free monthly bulk drop-off at two sites with its proof of residency rule and 2026 dates, and the refusal of chemicals, tires, paints and car parts at the drop-offChemical waste page with the three city collection events a year at the 40 Street and Chase Avenue lot, the full list of household items that must not go in the trash, the latex paint and aerosol guidance and the two county collection centresMiami-Dade County Home Chemical Collection Centers page with the two addresses and their Wednesday to Sunday hours, the accepted chemical and electronic item lists, the packaging requirements, the business exclusion and the Chem Again free product programmeCommercial waste haulers page with the two licensed private haulers, their addresses and phone numbers and the rule that private waste covers apartments, condos and commercial property

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Miami Beach.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Miami Beach?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Miami Beach?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does Miami Beach renovation debris go?

Not into the city bulk pile. The bulk waste definition excludes building demolition, land clearing, tree removal and any work done by a contractor, so project material moves through the service provider for the building or through one of the two licensed commercial haulers the city lists: Waste Management of Dade County on 786-450-5699 or Waste Connection on 305.638.3800. Both set their own container and hauling prices.Official guidance

Who handles waste for a condo building or a renovation project?

Not the city bulk service. Buildings with nine units or more on private garbage collection have to contact their own service provider for bulk and yard waste pickup, and building demolition, land clearing and any work done by a contractor are excluded from the bulk definition. The city licenses two private haulers for that work, Waste Management of Dade County on 786-450-5699 and Waste Connection on 305.638.3800, and recycling for private service is arranged by the building owner or association.Official guidance
