The project is done. Get your space back.

The new bathroom is ready, but the old vanity is still outside. A replaced door is taking up space you need. Put those leftover items on a pickup plan, with the price settled and updates through the final haul-away.

Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

  1. Arrange the removal work

Have the fixture safely detached and any plumbing or electrical connections handled by an appropriate professional. We do not remove installed fixtures or perform demolition.

  2. Keep the booked items separate

Have the fixtures empty and ready at ground level. Keep them apart from rubble, loose renovation materials, tools and anything you want to keep.

  3. Show the outdoor handoff

Use a permitted outdoor spot with a clear path. Add a location photo and notes on your order page so the right entrance and the right items are easy to identify.

Construction and demolition material

Not on the regular city route

Construction materials including lumber, pallets and drywall are prohibited in the city bulk trash collection, along with tires, glass and paint buckets.

City cost & eligibility
The city publishes no construction debris site or rate and simply prohibits the material, so confirm a private hauler or an out-of-city disposal site and its charge before the load moves.
When & how
Arrange a private hauling or disposal route, because the weekly bulk collection will not take the material.
Get it ready
Keep lumber, pallets, drywall and other construction material out of the bulk pile, out of the garbage cart and out of the recycling cart. Glass, paint buckets and hazardous waste are refused at the same time, so separate those items for their own routes.

The bulk day, the allowed list and the eight cubic yard ceiling

Waste Pro runs a weekly bulk trash collection Monday through Friday with a maximum of eight cubic yards per household. Only appliances, furniture, mattresses and tree trimming done by the property owner or a landscaper are allowed. Tires, glass, paint buckets, construction materials such as lumber, pallets and drywall, tree trimming done by another company and any hazardous waste are prohibited, and bulk items must stay at least five feet from vehicles, trees, hanging branches and wires.

With a new purchase

Arrange a private route for construction debris

A household or contractor with lumber, pallets, drywall or other construction material that the bulk collection prohibits.

Cost & conditions
The city publishes no construction debris site or rate and simply prohibits the material in bulk trash, so confirm the private hauler or out-of-city site and its charge before the load moves.
Arrange it
Contact a private hauling or container company, and confirm what it will take and what it costs before the work starts.

Construction material cannot go in the garbage cart, the recycling cart or the bulk pile, and glass, paint buckets and hazardous waste are refused at the same time, so those items need their own routes.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

North Miami keeps the household work in the weekly service. Garbage runs twice a week in the trash cart, recycling once a week in the olive green cart, and bulk trash once a week with a maximum of eight cubic yards, all covered by the monthly sanitation rate for single family and multifamily households of up to four units. Only appliances, furniture, mattresses and tree trimming done by the owner or a landscaper may go out as bulk trash, and the pile stays five feet clear of vehicles, trees, branches and wires. Everything else needs another route: tires, glass, paint buckets and construction materials such as lumber, pallets and drywall are prohibited, and hazardous waste is banned by code. Electronics and household chemicals go to a Miami-Dade County Home Chemical Collection Center, either the West Dade center at 8801 NW 58 Street in Doral or the South Dade center at 23707 SW 97th Ave in Homestead at Gate B, both open Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and free to residential customers. Containers travel upright in sturdy labeled boxes, leaking containers go inside a larger container with newspaper, and usable latex paint should be donated while unusable liquid paint should be dried out and put in the waste cart. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in North Miami.

How much does construction debris removal cost in North Miami?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in North Miami?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Can construction material go out with North Miami bulk trash?

No. Construction materials such as lumber, pallets and drywall are on the prohibited list for bulk trash collection, along with tires, glass, paint buckets and any hazardous waste. The city publishes no disposal site for the material, so a project load needs a private hauler or another site arranged separately.Official guidance

Who collects trash and bulk items in North Miami?

The allowed list is limited to appliances, furniture, mattresses and tree trimming done by the property owner or a landscaper, all within eight cubic yards and five feet clear of vehicles, trees, branches and wires.Official guidance
