Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and contractor debris

Not on the regular city route

Contractor-generated waste is not part of the residential collection: city ordinance puts it on the contractor, and construction site trash has to be contained on site.

City cost & eligibility
The city does not offer a residential construction debris route. Palm Coast Code Chapter 41 requires that any waste generated by a contractor, including a lawn service, tree trimmer, yardman or tree surgeon, be removed by that contractor at its own expense, and the city's own definitions treat construction and demolition debris generated by builders as contractor self-hauling, so a project load is a private arrangement.
When & how
Have the contractor remove the debris at its own expense, or arrange a private container or disposal site, because the city will not collect it.
Get it ready
Keep construction and demolition debris out of the garbage, recycling and bulk streams, and keep any trash, litter and debris on a construction site contained so it cannot leave the site.

The code windows for setting out and taking in

Containers may go out no earlier than 6 p.m. on the day before a scheduled collection day and must be removed no later than 6 a.m. on the day after they are emptied, and they have to be screened from the right of way except when set out for collection. Littering or disposing of debris on private or public property is not allowed, and trash, litter and debris on construction sites has to be contained.

With a new purchase

Have the contractor remove project debris

A household or property owner with debris generated by a builder, tree trimmer, lawn service or similar contractor.

Cost & conditions
City ordinance puts contractor-generated waste on the contractor at its own expense and the city publishes no residential construction rate, so the price is whatever the contractor quotes.
Arrange it
Require the contractor to remove the material as part of the job, or arrange a private container for a do-it-yourself project.

Construction, bulk yard and demolition debris generated by builders and landscapers is treated as contractor self-hauling under the city's franchise rules and cannot go out with the household collection.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Palm Coast keeps two curbside days and one county gate. FCC Environmental runs two service days a week: the first takes normal household waste and the second adds bulk items, with furniture, mattresses, televisions, dishwashers, stoves, washers and dryers all named and the pile capped at three cubic yards within five feet of the driveway. White goods such as refrigerators and hot water heaters go curbside separately with the doors removed, arranged through customer service with one to five days allowed for pickup, while yard waste has its own Wednesday collection and recycling runs weekly as a single stream. Everything chemical or electronic goes to the Flagler County recycling and household hazardous waste facility at 1700 South Old Kings Road, about a mile and a half south of State Road 100, free to residents under a 100 pound monthly limit and open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It takes batteries, fluorescent lights, cleaners, paint products, pesticides, pool chemicals, used oil and the full electronic list from desktops and monitors to flat panel televisions, but refuses cathode ray tube and projection televisions, which go out with the city bulk trash instead. Contractor-generated debris is the contractor's responsibility under city ordinance. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Palm Coast.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Palm Coast?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Palm Coast?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Who removes construction debris in Palm Coast?

The contractor who generated it. Palm Coast Code Chapter 41 requires any waste generated by a contractor, including a lawn service, tree trimmer, yardman or tree surgeon, to be removed by that contractor at its own expense, and the city's franchise definitions treat builder-generated bulk, yard and construction and demolition debris as contractor self-hauling rather than residential collection.Official guidance

Who collects trash and bulk items in Palm Coast?

The city contracts with FCC Environmental for garbage collection, recycling, yard waste, bulk trash and white goods removal. Households get two service days a week, the second of which takes bulk items up to three cubic yards, and Flagler County runs the collection facility on Old Kings Road where electronics and household chemicals go.Official guidance

How is Palm Coast yard waste handled?

Yard waste is picked up on Wednesdays with items under six inches in diameter and no longer than five feet, and the pile cannot exceed two cubic yards. Anything over those limits receives a tag so the resident pays the hauler directly, and under city ordinance any waste generated by a contractor, including a lawn service or tree trimmer, must be removed by that contractor at its own expense.Official guidance
