Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and demolition material

Not on the regular city route

Concrete and contractor material are refused as curbside bulk waste, and builders have to remove the debris they generate.

City cost & eligibility
Concrete is refused in the bulk pile, materials from contractors are not accepted, and the city code makes builders, contractors, landscaping and handyman services responsible for removing and lawfully disposing of the debris they generate. A project load needs a private hauler or the county facility.
When & how
Arrange a private hauler or a container before the project starts, or take the load to the St. Lucie County facility, because the curbside bulk route refuses contractor and land clearing material.
Get it ready
Keep concrete, land clearing debris and contractor material out of the curbside bulk pile, and keep oil paint, propane, acetylene and helium tanks on the household hazardous waste route instead.

Right item.
Right place.

Chemicals, tanks and certain batteries stay out of the cans and the pile

Hazardous waste such as fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, gasoline and oil, spray paint, stains, thinners and solvents cannot go in the garbage cart or the curbside bulk pile, and propane, acetylene and helium tanks, oil paint, automotive, boat, RV and trailer parts, tires and engines are refused in the bulk pile. Electronics and compact fluorescent bulbs are special waste, rechargeable and button cell batteries are household hazardous waste, and single-use alkaline batteries may go in the household trash.

With a new purchase

Have a private hauler take a project load

A household or contractor with construction, renovation or land clearing debris that the curbside route refuses.

Cost & conditions
The city publishes no construction collection, so a private hauler or container company quotes its own price and confirms the receiving facility, and the county facility charges by weight from its published minimum.
Arrange it
Contact a private hauler or container company serving St. Lucie County and confirm where the material goes and what it costs.

Contractor material, concrete and land clearing debris are refused at the curb, and hazardous materials still have to go to the county facility or a city collection day.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Port St. Lucie runs its own curbside collection: garbage, recycling and yard waste weekly, and bulk waste monthly on your regular pickup day with a two cubic yard limit, so furniture, mattresses, appliances, exercise equipment and broken down swing sets and basketball goals can go out at the curb. The city refuses concrete, contractor and land clearing material, bagged household garbage, tires, engines, automotive, boat, RV and trailer parts, propane, acetylene and helium tanks, oil paint and hazardous materials. Household hazardous waste and electronic waste are not curbside items: most hazardous waste and all electronic waste go free to the St. Lucie County Solid Waste Baling & Recycling Facility at 6120 Glades Cut-Off Road in Fort Pierce with a valid ID, the city also runs two free collection days a year for hazardous waste, and rechargeable and button cell batteries can be dropped free at city buildings. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Port St. Lucie.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Port St. Lucie?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Port St. Lucie?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Can Port St. Lucie take construction debris at the curb?

No. Concrete is refused in the bulk pile and materials from commercial waste haulers and contractors are not accepted, and the city code makes builders, contractors, landscaping and handyman services responsible for removing and lawfully disposing of the debris they generate. A project load goes with a private hauler or to the St. Lucie County facility.Official guidance
