Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

From $19.77 for the construction and demolition minimum fee at the Central County landfill. Construction and demolition waste is charged at the county rate, which the landfill lists at $59.91 per ton with a $19.77 minimum before the proposed October increase, and the site also charges a certified scale fee per weigh.
When & how
Deliver the load to the landfill and C&D area at 4000 Knights Trail Road in Nokomis, open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and expect construction-related traffic delays while the disposal complex is being rebuilt.
Get it ready
Bring government photo identification and wear closed-toe shoes, because customers in sandals or flip-flops are not allowed to leave their vehicles in the disposal areas, and confirm that the material was generated in Sarasota County.
The south chemical collection centre at 250 S. Jackson Road takes electronics, paint, batteries, chemicals, fluorescent lamps, sharps and used motor oil from county residents free of charge, Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Self-hauled garbage and construction loads go to the Central County Solid Waste Disposal Complex at 4000 Knights Trail Road in Nokomis with photo identification and closed-toe shoes.

From $15 for the minimum solid waste load fee at the Central County landfill. The landfill lists a current fifteen dollar minimum on a garbage load with $60.85 per ton, a construction and demolition rate of $59.91 per ton with a $19.77 minimum, and a certified scale fee per weigh, with October increases proposed to $16.50 minimum and $63.45 per ton if the county commission approves them.
Arrange it
Drive to 4000 Knights Trail Road in Nokomis during published hours, stop at the scale, and expect construction-related delays while the disposal complex is expanded through 2027.
Only waste generated in Sarasota County is accepted, customers need government photo identification and closed-toe shoes, and electronic identification is refused at the gate.
Sarasota County Central County Solid Waste Disposal Complex

Residential, municipal and commercial garbage from unincorporated Sarasota County and the cities of North Port, Sarasota and Venice, along with construction and demolition debris and yard waste in its own areas.
Only waste generated in Sarasota County is accepted, customers must show government photo identification in person rather than on a phone and wear closed-toe shoes, and customers in sandals or flip-flops may not leave their vehicles in the disposal areas.

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Venice?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?+

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?+
Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.
Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?+
Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.
Will Venice collect construction debris at the curb?+
No. Construction and demolition material is handled at the county landfill rather than through the city's curbside program, where it is charged by weight with a minimum fee, and only waste generated in Sarasota County is accepted. Is collection in Venice run by the city or the county?+
