Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and demolition debris

Not on the regular city route

Construction and demolition waste is on the county's unacceptable waste list for residential collection, along with treated wood, stumps and large tree debris.

City cost & eligibility
Gwinnett County lists construction and demolition waste, treated wood, stumps and large tree debris as waste that residential haulers cannot place out for collection, and neither the city nor the county publishes a residential rate or receiving site for it. Confirm a private container or receiving site with Gwinnett Solid Waste Management at 770.822.7141 or the contractor doing the work before the project starts.
When & how
Arrange the disposal through the contractor or a private container service, and use the county recycling directory through the solid waste division for a receiving site if one is needed.
Get it ready
Keep construction material, treated wood, stumps and large tree debris out of the curbside pile and out of the recycling cart, because the county lists all of them as unacceptable waste, and keep paint out unless it has been solidified with the lid off.

The handoff matters

Right item.
Right place.

Two bulk pickups a week, out by 7 a.m.

Trash, recyclables, bulk items and yard trimmings are collected between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the service day, with containers or items curbside before 7 a.m. and removed no later than the day after collection. The county request tool takes bulk or white goods pickups with a limit of two per week, and the county lists the waste residential haulers cannot place out: aerosol cans that are not empty, ammunition, batteries, biomedical waste, chemicals, compressed gas cylinders, construction and demolition waste, dead animals over 10 pounds, firearms, hazardous waste, large engine parts, large glass panes, large tree debris, paint unless solidified with the lid off, paint solvents, small engine parts containing oil or fluids, stumps, tires and treated wood.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Suwanee has no city collection service: the city tells residents and businesses to hire private companies and names Republic Sanitation, Red Oak and Waste Management, while Gwinnett County runs the residential system inside which five haulers work assigned service areas. Service is established with the county on 770.822.7141 weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. or by email, each hauler provides a 95-gallon trash cart and a 65-gallon recycling cart, and the published residential rate includes weekly trash and recycling plus bulky items and white goods scheduled in advance with your hauler. The county request tool accepts bulk or white goods pickups with a limit of two per week, everything goes curbside before 7 a.m. on the service day with collection between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., and containers come in no later than the day after collection. The haulers cannot take the county's unacceptable waste list, which covers aerosol cans that are not empty, ammunition, batteries, biomedical waste, chemicals, compressed gas cylinders, construction and demolition waste, dead animals over ten pounds, firearms, hazardous waste, large engine parts, large glass panes, large tree debris, paint unless solidified, paint solvents, small engine parts with fluids, stumps, tires and treated wood, and glass is not accepted in the curb cart at all. Chemicals go free to the Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful collection day at the county fairgrounds on 2405 Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville, five disposable containers per resident, and glass bottles and jars go to the city drop-off at Suwanee Public Works on 3625 Swiftwater Park Drive on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mattresses, electronics and exercise equipment are not named in the county lists, and construction debris is refused, so confirm those on 770.822.7141 before anything goes out. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Suwanee.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Suwanee?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Suwanee?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does Suwanee renovation debris go?

Not into the residential curbside collection. Gwinnett County lists construction and demolition waste, treated wood, stumps and large tree debris as unacceptable waste that haulers cannot place out for collection, and no residential rate or receiving site is published for it. Ask Gwinnett Solid Waste Management on 770.822.7141, or the contractor doing the work, to arrange a private container or receiving site before the project starts.Official guidance

What can never go to the curb in Gwinnett County?

The county lists aerosol cans that are not empty, ammunition, batteries, biomedical waste, chemicals, compressed gas cylinders, construction and demolition waste, dead animals over 10 pounds, firearms, hazardous waste, large engine parts, large glass panes, large tree debris, paint unless it has been solidified with the lid off, paint solvents, small engine parts containing oil or fluids, stumps, tires and treated wood. Glass is also excluded from curbside recycling, and plastic bags cannot be left outside the recycling cart.Official guidance
