Does IKEA give you money for old furniture?

IKEA US Buyback and Resell does not pay cash for old furniture. At participating US stores, eligible members can receive an IKEA Refund Card after using the online estimator and bringing fully assembled, functional, unmodified IKEA furniture to the store for inspection. The estimate is not the final offer, and IKEA does not provide home pickup through this program.

What to do if you want the IKEA offer

Confirm that you have qualifying IKEA furniture, the required IKEA Family or IKEA Business Network membership, and a participating store. Use the current online estimator, bring the quoted item to the store, and expect the final eligibility decision and offer to depend on the in-store inspection. You will need to arrange the transport yourself.

If you choose removal instead

If you prefer removal over transporting furniture for an IKEA offer, Dropcurb handles accepted standard desks and standard sofas or loveseats that are already outside and accessible, with loading, transportation and disposal included. Dropcurb does not buy furniture. You can book before moving the items, but they must be outside and accessible before pickup. If you need indoor carrying, choose a service that includes that labor.
