Answer sources: Charity’s Hope clothing donation guidance
Donate at the receiving location
Use the clothing pantry’s donation instructions rather than assuming the nearby thrift store has the same hours. Check the current schedule before travelling and ask about the clothes you plan to bring.
For clothes the pantry cannot use, check textile-recycling condition rules before placing them in another donation container.
Confirm any pickup directly
The organization invites donors who cannot visit to contact it about arrangements. That is a request process, not a guaranteed collection slot. Keep the bags indoors until the receiving plan and any set-out instructions are confirmed.
When Dropcurb helps
When your Colorado Springs closet clear-out leaves accepted bags that need removal, Dropcurb collects them outside and accessible. Bag clothing and bedding, count each filled bag, and send a photo for oversized bags. Donate wearable items directly to your chosen organization first; standard Dropcurb pickup does not promise donation or a particular recycling outcome.
