Answer sources: Twin Cities ReStore item requirements; SA Recycling appliance and material FAQ
Check reuse and scrap options first
If the grill is clean, complete and working, ask Twin Cities ReStore whether it qualifies for seasonal pickup. If it is mainly metal, contact a local SA Recycling yard or another scrap collector and confirm whether it accepts the whole grill and provides pickup. Metal value and acceptance can vary, so do not assume a scrap yard will collect it from your home.

Prepare the grill safely
Identify whether the grill is charcoal or gas, and arrange separate handling for any propane cylinder. Cool the ashes and have a capable person disconnect fuel when needed. Do not puncture or drain a cylinder. Confirm the collector’s exact requirements before pickup.
