Get it ready
Never put electronics at the curb, because the city says it is illegal to do so at any time including during the Spring Clean-Up, and keep batteries out of the pile so they are not crushed. Wipe personal data before handover, and check the accepted list first: computers, laptops, servers, monitors, televisions, printers, scanners, fax machines, players, consoles, cable boxes, keyboards, mice, phones, tablets, cables and adapters are taken, while appliances and business equipment are refused.
