Tables and chairs
Choose the table, then add each chair separately. Coffee tables, side tables and dining tables have their own options. A large or substantially heavy table has a different choice.
Dressers and mirrors
Match the dresser’s overall size. Add a separate dresser mirror as its own item if it is leaving too. Empty drawers and keep the belongings you want before moving the dresser outside.
Desks and bookshelves
Choose by construction, not height alone. A basic desk is different from a heavy desk with a substantial body. A tall, lightweight bookcase can still be a standard bookshelf. Empty it first.

Furniture is limited to one qualifying piece per week. Carpet has a residential bundle limit. Commercial and industrial items are excluded from curbside collection; the Recycling Center has separate small-business and nonprofit eligibility.
The Cambridge Recycling Center is a documented local drop-off for accepted small electronics, not a general bulky-item facility. The City lists no Cambridge mattress drop-off, and the retained sources do not establish local self-haul for furniture, carpet, exercise equipment or air conditioners. Choose the type and size of each piece to see its price. For example, a medium dresser is $79 as the first item or $29 as an additional item. Your total starts with the highest first-item price in your selection, then uses the additional-item price for every other item. Review the complete total and any applicable tax before payment.
Can I get same-day furniture pickup in Cambridge?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup and choose from the dates shown at checkout. Arrange to have the furniture outside according to your confirmation. You receive a text when your hauler is on the way and photos after collection.
Will you remove furniture from inside my apartment?+
Dropcurb starts outside. You arrange indoor carrying, including any interior stairs or elevator trip. We load and take away the furniture from an accessible outdoor location. Check your building’s rules and plan the route out before booking.
Can you take several different furniture items in one pickup?+
Yes. Add each piece and its quantity to one booking. A dining table and four chairs are five items; a separate mirror is not included with a dresser. You can mix eligible items from different rooms and review their combined total before paying.
Do I need to take furniture apart before pickup?+
You arrange any disassembly needed to move the furniture out of your home and into an accessible outdoor pickup spot. Dropcurb does not provide indoor disassembly or carrying. If you are unsure which catalog choice matches a dismantled or unusual piece, send a photo and ask before booking.
Can Cambridge collect a couch on trash day?+
A resident may place one qualifying furniture piece per week on trash day. The City notes that exceptions apply, so check the couch or other exact piece in Get Rid of It Right before bringing it to the curb. Commercial and industrial pieces are excluded.Official guidance
