Taking it somewhere yourself?

Portage residents have two established drop-off routes. Chemicals, paint, batteries and electronics go to the Kalamazoo County Household Hazardous Waste Center at 1301 Lamont Ave. in Kalamazoo by appointment, at no charge for County residents except Climax Township. Brush and leaves are accepted at the City compost facility at 10905 Oakland Drive on announced drop-off days.
