Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and remodeling debris

Not on the regular city route

Construction and remodeling material is not accepted at the city Recycling Center, and the county household hazardous waste facility refuses it too, so a project load goes to Dem-Con in Blaine or, for small amounts, into the trash the way the city's recycling guidance describes.

City cost & eligibility
Dem-Con Blaine charges by the ton for demolition and construction waste with a published minimum charge, and a separate higher ton rate with its own minimum for household waste, both for public drop-off and both before solid waste taxes and a possible fuel charge. Container, hauling and delivery prices come from whichever company you hire. Confirm the current rate and the minimum before you load.
When & how
Dem-Con Blaine, 3280 99th Ct. NE, is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and answers rate questions at 952-445-5755. Call your waste hauler or a roll-off company if you would rather have a container delivered.
Get it ready
Separate clean material from mixed debris, because the rate is set by the ton and by what the load contains and the minimum charge applies even to a small load. Clean concrete with no wood or metal embedded can go to North Pine Aggregate in Forest Lake instead. Keep paint thinner, solvents, gasoline and other hazardous products out of the load and take them to the Anoka County facility in Blaine.

Keep hazardous products out of every load

Products marked caution, warning, danger or poison do not belong in the trash or in a bulky load. Paint thinner, solvents, gasoline, aerosol cans with contents, pesticides, mercury and similar items go to the Anoka County Household Hazardous Waste Facility at 3230 101st Avenue NE in Blaine, which is free for residents of Anoka and several neighboring metro counties and does not accept appliances, electronics or tires. The Recycling Center takes empty propane tanks, batteries, used motor oil, oil filters and antifreeze instead.

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Coon Rapids.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Coon Rapids?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Coon Rapids?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Does Coon Rapids collect construction debris?

No. The Recycling Center refuses lumber, drywall, carpet, fixtures, flooring, sinks, cabinets and similar material, and the county household hazardous waste facility does not take it either. A renovation load goes to Dem-Con in Blaine, and the city's own recycling guidance puts small amounts of that material in the trash.Official guidance

Which hauler serves my Coon Rapids address?

Coon Rapids uses open hauling, so you choose from five licensed haulers: Ace Solid Waste, Curbside Waste, Republic Services, Walter's Recycling and Waste Management. Every hauler provides trash and recycling, and the city assigns each neighborhood a collection day so trucks come down your street once a week. Contact the hauler directly to set up service.Official guidance

Who can use the Coon Rapids Recycling Center?

The Recycling Center is open to Anoka County residents, and clean white Styrofoam is accepted from anyone in Minnesota because that program is funded by a state grant. A limited number of programs may be available to local small businesses case by case, and the site has no public trash bin, so anything that is refused travels home with you.Official guidance

Where do paint, gasoline and other household chemicals go?

Products marked caution, warning, danger or poison go to the Anoka County Household Hazardous Waste Facility at 3230 101st Avenue NE in Blaine, which is free for residents of Anoka and several neighboring metro counties and does not accept appliances, electronics, tires or trash. Keep them out of the curbside carts and out of any bulky load.Official guidance
