The project is done. Get your space back.

The new bathroom is ready, but the old vanity is still outside. A replaced door is taking up space you need. Put those leftover items on a pickup plan, with the price settled and updates through the final haul-away.

Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and demolition material

Special rules apply

Plymouth publishes no construction route, and the recycling drop-off site refuses project material, so a roll-off hauler has to be arranged.

City cost & eligibility
The city publishes no construction or demolition rate and its drop-off site takes recyclables only, so a licensed hauler that offers roll-offs quotes its own delivery, disposal and container price, and the receiving facility should be confirmed before the box is dropped.
When & how
Call a licensed hauler that offers roll-offs before the work starts, and keep the material out of the recycling and yard waste sites while the container is arranged.
Get it ready
Keep lumber, sod, soil, stumps, rock and construction material out of the yard waste site, which rejects loads containing prohibited material, and keep paint and chemicals on the county hazardous waste route instead.
Licensed garbage hauler page with the hauler list and numbers, the hauler set fee rule and the 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. collection windowRecycling Drop-Off Site page with the address, the all-hours access, the fine and the accepted and refused listsYard Waste Site page with the free residency rule, the 2026 hours, the accepted yard materials and the compostable bag law

The handoff matters

Right item.
Right place.

Yard waste, furniture and hazardous products have their own destinations

It is against state law to put yard and tree waste in the trash, and haulers must offer curbside yard waste service, which may carry a fee, while the free Yard Waste Site takes lawn rakings, leaves, soft garden waste, tree waste, brush, logs and diseased trees from residents of Plymouth, Medicine Lake, Wayzata and Long Lake. The Recycling Drop-Off Site refuses furniture, bulky items, carpet, rugs, plastic bags, shredded paper, Styrofoam, trash and paint, electronics and hazardous waste do not go in the trash, and unused paint must be recycled at a paint drop-off.

With a new purchase

Rent a roll-off container for a project

A household or contractor with construction debris or a large clean-out that the city sites refuse.

Cost & conditions
The city publishes no construction or bulky rate and the licensed haulers set their own roll-off, hauling and disposal prices, so ask for a quote and confirm the receiving facility before the container is delivered.
Arrange it
Call a licensed hauler that offers roll-offs and agree the container size, the delivery and pickup dates and the disposal arrangement.

The Recycling Drop-Off Site takes curbside recyclables only and the Yard Waste Site rejects lumber, sod, soil, stumps, rock and dirt, so a project load cannot go to either city site.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Plymouth does not collect garbage, so a household chooses and pays a licensed hauler for weekly service and the city does not manage the account. What the city does run is curbside recycling through Republic Services every other week on the utility bill, a free Recycling Drop-Off Site at 14900 23rd Avenue North that takes curbside recyclables only and refuses furniture, carpet, bulky items, plastic bags, shredded paper, Styrofoam, trash and paint, a free Yard Waste Site on the same campus for residents of Plymouth, Medicine Lake, Wayzata and Long Lake, and a free 24 hour used oil and antifreeze drop-off. Electronics and household hazardous waste go to Hennepin County Drop-off Facilities, where hazardous waste is free and some electronics carry an unpublished fee, and the city takes electronics itself only at the annual spring Drop-Off Day. Yard and tree waste cannot go in the trash under state law, and mattresses, appliances, furniture and construction material have no published city route, so those loads go through the hauler or a roll-off container. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Plymouth.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Plymouth?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Plymouth?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does Plymouth construction debris go?

Plymouth publishes no construction route, and the Recycling Drop-Off Site accepts curbside recyclables only, so a project load goes through a licensed hauler that rents roll-offs, which sets its own price. Keep lumber, sod, soil and stumps out of the Yard Waste Site, which rejects loads containing prohibited material, and keep paint and chemicals on the Hennepin County route.Official guidance
