Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

  1. Arrange the removal work

Have the fixture safely detached and any plumbing or electrical connections handled by an appropriate professional. We do not remove installed fixtures or perform demolition.

  2. Keep the booked items separate

Have the fixtures empty and ready at ground level. Keep them apart from rubble, loose renovation materials, tools and anything you want to keep.

  3. Show the outdoor handoff

Construction and remodeling debris

Special rules apply

Construction and demolition material is refused at the township drop-off. Masonry and paving material goes to the Roads Department, and the county sends furniture or construction loads to a licensed hauler or a private transfer station.

City cost & eligibility
No township construction rate is published. A private transfer station charges by the load and asks callers to confirm its hours and fees, so agree the price before the load leaves the property. Freehold Cartage can be reached on 732-462-1001 x7126, Mazza and Sons on 732-922-9292, and Republic/Midco in Middlesex on 732-469-3777.
When & how
Arrange the disposal before the work starts: a container or licensed hauler for mixed debris, or the Roads Department on 732-738-1311 ext. 3044 for loose leaves and masonry material.
Get it ready
Keep masonry, asphalt, brick, block, stone and concrete separate from mixed debris, because the township routes those to the Roads Department. Never take construction or demolition material to the Keasbey drop-off, and keep it out of a curbside cart.

Take a large load to a private transfer station

A household with bulky waste or construction material that the township's bulky pickup will not take.

Cost & conditions
The transfer stations charge per load and the county guide tells callers to confirm the operating days, hours and fees, so agree the price before you load.
Arrange it
Call one of the licensed transfer stations, such as Freehold Cartage on 732-462-1001 x7126, Mazza and Sons on 732-922-9292, Republic/Midco in Middlesex on 732-469-3777, Republic/Midco in New Brunswick on 732-545-8988, or IWS in New Brunswick on 732-696-1215.

Personal vehicles only, under 9,000 pounds for a single vehicle or 16,000 pounds combined with a trailer. The county landfill in East Brunswick is open to licensed haulers only and will not take a resident's own vehicle.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

The township's own drop-off is the Convenience and Recycling Center at 225 Smith Street in Keasbey, open Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Woodbridge residents with proof of residency. It takes recyclables, electronics, appliances, metal, bulky rigid plastics, leaves, textiles, Styrofoam, motor oil, cooking oil, paints, batteries and tires, but it refuses construction and demolition material and bars commercial and rental vehicles. For a load the township will not take, the county guide points to a licensed hauler or a private transfer station that charges by the load, and the county landfill in East Brunswick is open to licensed haulers only. Paint, chemicals and other hazardous products go to the county's five 2026 household hazardous waste events, which do not accept electronics, appliances or furniture. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Woodbridge.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Woodbridge?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Woodbridge?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does construction debris go in Woodbridge?

Not to the township drop-off, which refuses construction and demolition material. Masonry and paving material is handled by the Roads Department on 732-738-1311 ext. 3044, and the county guide sends other debris to a licensed hauler or a private transfer station that charges by the load.Official guidance

When are the household hazardous waste events?

Middlesex County runs five events in 2026, all from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.: March 15 at Middlesex College in Edison, May 16 at the county public works yard in North Brunswick, June 28 at the Old Bridge recycling center, September 19 at the county public works yard in Sayreville, and November 15 at Middlesex College. They are free for county residents with residential material and plates, and electronics, appliances, furniture, tires and alkaline batteries are not accepted.Official guidance

Whom do I call for a pickup in Woodbridge?

The Sanitation Division on 732-738-1311 ext. 3600 for bulky items, furniture, mattresses, carpeting and appliances, and the Recycling Division on ext. 3035 for electronics, metal, recycling questions and the ReUse It Center. Masonry, loose leaves and similar material goes to the Roads Department on ext. 3044.Official guidance
