A clear count. An exact price.

Count the bags and boxes, not everything inside.

A few simple choices turn a mixed pile into a clear booking. No need to estimate how much of a truck it might fill.

Filled bags and boxes

Count each trash bag or filled household box. Books and media go by the box. Clothes, bedding and shoes go by the filled bag. Toys packed together have a Box of toys choice. Ask us about unusually heavy or oversized bags and boxes first.

Empty cardboard and containers

Empty cardboard is a different choice: choose single empty boxes or tied bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Compacted bales have their own weight-based choices and require loading-dock access. A Storage bin choice covers the empty bin itself; ask us to confirm the contents if they are going too.

Furniture and other larger items

Add the actual larger item alongside your bags and boxes, such as a sofa, chair or mattress. It has its own price and preparation. Keep construction materials and items needing special handling out of ordinary household bags.

Couches, sofas and household furniture

Accepted with preparation

Furniture is the city's own example of the large debris its boom claw trucks collect, so a couch moves through the bulk collection rather than the poly cart.

City cost & eligibility
From $20 for first bulk load at the published bulk collection price of 20.00, with each additional truck load at 65.00 and a minimum of 1.5 cubic yards before a bulk collection can be requested. City residential solid waste customers with at least 1.5 cubic yards of material, which the city describes as the capacity of a regular size pickup bed.
When & how
Request the bulk collection from the Solid Waste Department, and put the cart out by 7:30 am on the household's collection day, which follows the colour keyed route days of Tuesday through Friday.
Get it ready
Keep the furniture out of the poly cart because the cart is barred to large debris, gather at least the minimum volume the city asks for before requesting the pickup, and keep liquids, concrete, building material, auto parts, scrap metal and tires out of the load.
City solid waste page with the poly cart rules and prohibited material, the additional cart price and contact, the landfill address, hours and accepted material, the twelve free residential trips and six free household hazardous waste trips with their limits and extra trip charge, the full inside and outside city landfill rate schedule including monitors, tires, dead animals and yard trimmings, the unsecured load fee, the compost and wood chip terms, the boom claw bulk collection with its minimum volume and first and additional load prices, the colour keyed routes, the roll-off container rental rates and the solid waste staff contacts

Appliances and white goods

Special rules apply

Appliances are not named in the cart rules, the prohibited list or the bulk description, so an appliance is a confirmation even though the landfill takes non-hazardous solid waste and the bulk trucks take large debris.

City cost & eligibility
No published Enid rate names an appliance and the appliance cannot go in the poly cart, so confirm with the Solid Waste Department whether it goes out as a bulk load or is taken to the landfill, where general refuse is priced by weight.
When & how
Confirm the route first, then either call for a bulk collection or take the appliance to the landfill at 1313 E. Southgate Road during published hours.
Get it ready
Keep the appliance out of the poly cart, empty and defrost it, and confirm the item and any refrigerant handling with the Solid Waste Department before it is moved.

Bulky items and large loads

Accepted with preparation

The city keeps two boom claw trucks for large debris that is too heavy or too large for the residential trucks, and a household needs at least 1.5 cubic yards before the bulk collection can be requested.

City cost & eligibility
From $20 for first bulk load, with each additional truck load at 65.00 and a minimum of 1.5 cubic yards before the collection can be requested, where one truck load is about 20 cubic yards. City residential solid waste customers with at least 1.5 cubic yards of large debris.
When & how
Request the bulk collection from the Solid Waste Department on 580-616-7300 for account questions and the department's own line for service, and put material out by 7:30 am on the household's collection day.
Get it ready
Gather the minimum volume before requesting the pickup, keep bricks, concrete, building material, auto parts, scrap metal, tires and liquids out of the load, and leave the poly cart to its household rubbish.

The handoff matters

Right item.
Right place.

The poly cart has a list of what it will not take

The container goes to the curb no later than 7:30 am on the collection day, at the edge of the property with wheels above the curb, and with at least ten feet of clearance from other containers, vehicles, posts, trees and mailboxes. The cart must not be overfilled or left with long pieces sticking out, and liquids especially motor oil, gasoline, antifreeze or paint, hot ashes, soil, sand, uncut or untied branches, bricks, concrete, building material, auto parts, scrap metal, tires and dead animals are all barred from it.

Large material goes by boom claw truck or by landfill trip

The department keeps two boom claw trucks for specialised pickup of large debris that is too heavy or too large for the residential trucks, such as furniture, and a household needs at least 1.5 cubic yards of material before requesting the collection. The bulk rates are 20.00 for the first load and 65.00 for each additional truck load, where one truck load is about 20 cubic yards. The alternative is a trip to the city landfill, where residents who show a current city utility bill get twelve free trips a calendar year for one deposit of refuse within the legal load of a one ton or smaller vehicle without sides or a four wheeled trailer.

The landfill refuses the material that needs a specialist

The landfill is permitted to accept solid waste that is not liquid, non-hazardous industrial waste and dirt or soil, with non-hazardous waste pre-approved before transport. It does not take hazardous wastes, toxic wastes, liquid waste oils, PCBs, bio-medical waste, radioactive waste, burn barrels or mixed waste, and commercial and industrial waste is prohibited. Household hazardous waste is a limited exception for residents, who get six free trips a year within a ten gallon paint or twenty gallon household hazardous waste limit per trip, with further trips at 25.00 each.

worth knowing.

Bulk junk removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Enid.

How much does bulk junk removal cost in Enid?

A trash bag is $59 as the first item and $10 additional. A filled household box is $59 as the first item. Add your actual items and quantities to see the combined price before booking. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; any applicable sales tax is shown before payment.

Can you pick up bags of junk today?

Book by 2pm in the pickup address’s local time for same-day pickup. Available dates appear at checkout. Have the booked bags and boxes outside and accessible according to your confirmation. You receive pickup updates and completion photos; the booking is for a day rather than an exact arrival time.

Do I count every object inside a bag or box?

No. Count the filled bags or boxes using the matching choice. Books and media go in Filled household box; clothes, bedding and shoes go in Bag of clothes & bedding; packed toys have a Box of toys choice. Empty cardboard is separate, with individual empty boxes and bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Heavy, oversized or unusual contents need a photo review before booking.

Can you pick up a small loose pile of household junk?

Yes. Estimate how many trash bags the small household pile would fill, and bag or box as much as possible. Select furniture and other larger items separately. There is no extra charge just because the pile is loose. Send a photo first if the count or contents are unclear. A household Dumpster Bag choice does not accept construction debris.

Can I book bags, boxes and furniture together?

Yes. Select the bags and boxes, then add each larger item using its own catalog choice. The booking shows one combined price for the selected items. Move everything to an accessible outdoor spot before pickup; indoor carrying and sorting are not included. Keep anything you want to retain apart from the booked items and identify what goes in your photos and notes.
