The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.
Flat-screen TVs
Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.
Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.
TV stands and other electronics
The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

The recycling center refuses electronics, so screens and computers travel on the city's recycling events, such as the fall event on November 21, 2026, and not on a standing drop-off.
City cost & eligibility
No fee is published for the city recycling event. Confirm the date, the accepted devices and any charge with the Moore Recycling Center at 405-793-4373 before loading the car.
When & how
Watch the city events page for the next recycling event. The published fall event runs Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Moore Recycling Center, 220 N Telephone Rd., as a drive-thru.
Get it ready
Keep electronics out of the recycling containers and out of the recycling center's drive-thru bay, because the center refuses them, and keep them off a Big Trash pile. Erase personal data before the device is dropped, and note that computer equipment is not accepted at the Oklahoma City hazardous waste center either.
Household trash must be in a polycart, and bagged trash left beside the curb is not collected. Put the cart out before 7 a.m. on the pickup day, keep it three feet from any obstruction and two feet from another cart, out from under overhead branches or wires, with the lid closed and nothing on top. Bring the cart in by the end of the day, and remember that a trash day falling on New Year's Day, the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving or Christmas moves to the Wednesday of that week.

Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.
Where do Moore televisions and computers go?+

What can go to the Moore Recycling Center?+
Plastics numbered 1 and 2, aluminium and tin, paper and cardboard, and the listed cell phone and rechargeable batteries, with the gates open 24 hours a day and the drive-thru bay staffed Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Glass, plastic bags, Styrofoam, plastics 3 through 7, electronics, appliances, tires, yard waste, wood, oil and hazardous waste are refused, and electronics instead go to a city recycling event such as the one on November 21, 2026.Official guidance
