A plan for your pile

Finishing the project should include clearing the debris.

Mixed renovation material is hard to describe as one item. A photo-led quote gives you a specific plan for the pile left behind.

Your quote

A quote based on what is actually there.

Send a photo of the whole pile and a close-up of the material. Include its approximate size, your ZIP code and a view of the access.

Mixed or heavy project debris.

Request a quote for the actual materials and quantity. A generic debris-pile price cannot establish the scope of your project.

Already in contractor bags?

The separate contractor-bag item can cover carryable bags of debris at 50 lb or less each, with no dirt or gravel. Describe uncertain contents to our team before choosing it.

Unknown or hazardous material.

Flag unknown contents, chemicals and suspected hazardous materials in your request. A photo request is not acceptance of every material, and this service does not promise remediation or demolition.

  1. Show the material.

Show each material separately where possible. Describe wood, tile, drywall, concrete or other contents, and flag any material you cannot identify.

  2. Describe the amount.

Include approximate pile dimensions and known weights. Photograph both the whole pile and the route to it.

  3. Show the pickup access.

Include the location, ZIP code and a photo of the route from the street to the material. Mention stairs, gates, loading docks or limited access hours.

Construction and renovation debris

Not on the regular city route

Construction debris left the Warwick bulky programme in 2023 and is no longer collected, so renovation material has to be handled privately.

City cost & eligibility
Warwick stopped collecting construction debris such as sheetrock, plaster, roof shingles and insulation on July 1, 2023, and the material is not accepted at the Recycling Drop-Off Facility because no trash is allowed there. Renovation debris has to be handled through a private hauler or container service.
When & how
No curbside collection and no city drop-off for construction debris.
Get it ready
Do not put construction material out with bulky items or bring it to the Range Road facility. Keep bags and containers on the property until a private service removes them.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Warwick's self-haul route is the Municipal Recycling Drop-Off Facility at 111 Range Road behind the Mickey Stevens Sports Complex. It takes mattresses, scrap metal including bicycles, electronics, appliances, tires and textiles, but no household trash at all, and it closes on Saturdays from January through March. Yard waste stays on the curbside route, and hazardous waste goes to the state Eco-Depot in Johnston by appointment rather than to the city facility. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from your photo request to the pickup plan in Warwick.

Can I book a mixed debris pile online at one price?

Request a custom quote instead. Send photos of the materials, approximate pile dimensions, your ZIP code and access details. The team confirms the work and price before you commit.

What if my debris is already in contractor bags?

Each carryable contractor bag at 50 lb or less, containing no dirt or gravel, has its own catalog option. Do not use a bag count for an unbagged pile or unknown material. Text a photo if you are unsure.

Does pickup include demolition or removing installed materials?

No demolition or disconnection work is automatically included. Describe the current state and access in your quote request so the team can confirm the work it can arrange.

How much does construction debris removal cost?

This service uses a custom quote. Send photos, the approximate amount, your ZIP code and access details. Our team confirms the scope and price before booking; there is no fixed-price catalog item for this pile.

Can you collect it today?

Tell our team your preferred day when you request the quote. Timing depends on the material, amount and access, and is confirmed with your quote. Sending photos does not reserve same-day pickup.

Will Warwick collect construction debris or shingles?

No. Since July 1, 2023 the city has not collected construction debris such as sheetrock, plaster, roof shingles or insulation through the bulky programme, and the Recycling Drop-Off Facility does not accept trash. That material needs a private hauler.Official guidance

Where does Warwick send paint and household chemicals?

Rhode Island household hazardous waste goes to the Eco-Depot at the state resource recovery facility in Johnston. It is free, it needs an appointment through 942-1430 extension 241, and material must arrive in labelled original containers with the inventory form filled out.Official guidance
