We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Building materials, construction debris, compost, soil, sand and rock are all excluded from the city's yard waste collection.
City cost & eligibility
Florence collects no construction debris at the curb and states the city is not responsible for construction, demolition or land-clearing waste from private property, so there is no collection charge. Removal belongs to the owner, tenant or contractor.
When & how
No city curbside collection. Contractors and property owners must arrange their own removal.
Get it ready
Never put construction or land-clearing debris in a yard waste pile; the rules also prohibit burning solid waste anywhere in the city.
Yard waste must stay separate from household garbage, brown goods such as furniture and mattresses, white goods such as refrigerators and washers, tires, building materials, construction debris, recyclables and scrap metal. Mixing it in means the pile is not collected as yard waste.
Commercial building and remodeling contractors, landscapers, tree firms, roofers and clearing contractors may not deposit their debris for city collection, and the city is not responsible for construction, demolition or land-clearing waste originating from private property. Burning solid waste is prohibited.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
Florence routes almost everything that is not garbage, recycling or yard waste to Florence County. Fifteen county drop-off sites run Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., taking aluminum, large appliances, cardboard, mixed paper, plastics 1 and 2, scrap metal, steel cans, used motor oil and tires at most locations, with electronics limited to four sites and tires refused at three. The city also runs a SCDHEC-permitted mulching facility at 1440 S. McCurdy Road where residents can collect free mulch on weekdays, and city fire stations take residential used motor oil with a five-gallon limit per trip. Tires are not accepted at this site, and oil and gasoline mixtures are only taken at site 12. Sites are subject to holiday and severe weather closures.
Monday to Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; closed Sunday.
Florence County does not publish a per-item rate for its residential drop-off sites, so call Public Works on (843) 665-3022 to confirm before hauling.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Florence?+
Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.
Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Florence?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.
Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?+
The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.
Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?+
Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.
Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?+
Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.
Will the city take construction debris from a remodel?+
No. Building materials and construction debris are excluded from yard waste, commercial contractors are barred from depositing their debris for city collection, and the city states it is not responsible for construction, demolition or land-clearing waste originating on private property.
