Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

The county accepts residential construction and demolition debris only in small amounts, and the Hilton Head Island centre is one of the four sites where it is allowed along with Shanklin, St Helena and Bluffton. No size limit and no fee are published, so the answer for a renovation load has to come from the county before it is loaded.
City cost & eligibility
The county publishes no construction debris rate and describes the residential allowance only as small amounts at four centres. Call Beaufort County Solid Waste on 843-255-2736 to confirm whether the load qualifies as a small amount, what the per visit limit is and any charge, before renting a trailer.
When & how
Confirm the allowance first, then use the convenience center during open hours, remembering that trailers are allowed there only up to five feet by eight feet and that commercial work has to go through a private hauler.
Get it ready
Separate construction material from household garbage and from recyclables, keep it within the small amount the county allows, keep trailers within the published size, and keep business or contractor loads out of the residential centre entirely.
Electronics are refused at the residential centres other than the two appointment sites in Beaufort and Bluffton, so a television or computer has to be booked or saved for a county electronics event. Chemicals belong in the household hazardous waste shed rather than the general load, and ammunition, fireworks, medical waste, smoke detectors and large propane tanks are prohibited there. Construction and demolition material is allowed only in small residential amounts, and commercial or contractor loads have to go through a private hauler.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Hilton Head Island?+

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?+

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?+
Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.
Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?+
Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

What are the convenience center hours?+
The Hilton Head site at 26 Summit Drive is open 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and closed Wednesday.
