The catch is the strict three-pile separation rule on the Town's published Trash Collections page: bagged leaves and grass clippings in one pile, brush and tree limbs in a second pile, furniture/metal/appliances in a third. The adjacent Bees Ferry Landfill bills MSW at $100 per ton, scrap metal at $30 per ton, and tires at $150 per ton, and refuses construction & demolition debris from private or commercial haulers.
