City cost & eligibility
Tires 17 inches or smaller without a rim cost $7 each, larger tires or any tire on a rim cost $15 each, and loads of six or more tires are billed by weight at $260 per ton.
When & how
Deliver tires during landfill scale hours, Monday through Saturday, 7am to 4pm.
Get it ready
Count the tires and note which ones have rims before you reach the scale, because that changes the rate.
Put the can out by 7am and at least four feet from mailboxes, vehicles, buildings, garages and poles, and keep it upright with the lid fully closed. Construction waste, tires, yard waste and special waste do not belong in the can.
Bring loads to the landfill scale between 7am and 4pm, Monday through Saturday. Expect a minimum disposal charge or a flat load rate, and sort out refrigerant-bearing appliances, liquids and paint before you arrive.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
For furniture, mattresses, appliances, construction debris, tires, metal and other large items that have no curbside route.

The gate charges a $10 minimum disposal charge, flat car, sport utility and pickup load rates, or tonnage rates such as $73 per ton for mixed waste and construction debris.

Refrigerant-bearing appliances are refused, liquids and hazardous material are not accepted as solid waste, and paint has to be hardened before disposal.

How do I book a set of four tires?+
Choose the matching tire type and set the quantity to four. The first tire uses the first-item price and the remaining three use the additional-item price. Review your total before payment.

Can my tire shop take the old tires?+

Can I arrange same-day pickup?+
Book by 2pm in the pickup address’s local time for same-day pickup. Checkout shows the available dates for your address. Your booking is for a pickup day, rather than an exact arrival window. We send updates and photos after collection.
Where should I put my items?+
Use an accessible outdoor spot you are allowed to use, and follow the instructions in your confirmation. Keep sidewalks, entrances and vehicle access clear. You arrange any indoor carrying. For a loading dock or a short building access window, confirm the setup with our team before booking.
