An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches

Trash, recycling, bulk and brush must be at the curb before 7 a.m. on the collection day. The City asks residents not to put material out before 6 p.m. the evening before, while the recycling page states the ordinance window as 7 p.m., so follow the earlier of the two. Carts come in within 24 hours and stay screened from public view at other times.

Refrigerant units need a certified removal and tag
A refrigerator, freezer or air conditioner that contains Freon, PCB or another liquid or gaseous compound must have that product removed by a certified technician who places a special tag on the item before collection.
On the 2026 holiday schedule, Thanksgiving moves Thursday service to Friday and Friday service to Saturday, while Christmas and New Year's Day move Friday customers to the following Saturday. Monday through Thursday service runs as usual on the Christmas and New Year's weeks.

The 2026 event is Saturday, April 11, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Meadow Park Athletic Complex, 3200 Meadow Park Drive. Enter from Meadow Park Drive by turning south from Cummings Drive, and questions go to 817-952-2300.
Household hazardous waste is not accepted, contractors and construction debris are not allowed unless it is residential household construction, and old and used tires are refused at the event.
Residents of apartment complexes, which Bedford treats as commercial Republic Services accounts rather than single household accounts.
Cost & conditions
An apartment complex is billed as a commercial account, so the household routes and the free landfill days do not apply. Ask the property how its dumpster arrangement works, and confirm any charge with the complex rather than the City.

Contact the property manager or leasing office about using the complex dumpsters for excess refuse, or use the Keep Bedford Beautiful Chunk Your Junk event with proof of Bedford residency.
Bedford states that apartment residents are not authorized by Republic Services to take part in the free landfill days, and the City suggests asking the apartment about its dumpsters or joining the annual bulk waste collection event instead.
Bedford's self-haul routes run through the Keep Bedford Beautiful event calendar and the free landfill days rather than a city transfer station. Free landfill days fall on the fourth Saturday of the month from February through November in 2026, with no free day in January or December, at the Arlington Landfill, 800 Mosier Valley Road in Euless, open to residents from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and no-charge access is limited to individual homeowners with a Texas driver license and water bill showing the same address and waste delivered in a car, a pickup or a trailer up to 8 feet long.
