Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and remodeling debris

Special rules apply

Concrete, brick, tile and railroad ties are refused at the curb, and construction loads go to the Camelot Landfill drop-off on a Saturday.

City cost & eligibility
$18 per landfill drop-off visit at Camelot Landfill, covering up to 6 cubic yards per month of construction debris, yard waste and household furniture and mattresses, with the load required to be covered by a tarp or tied down. Carrollton residents arriving with a Texas driver's license and a City of Carrollton utility water bill showing the matching address, on Saturdays from 8 AM to Noon, in a non-commercial vehicle without a commercial trailer.
When & how
Load the vehicle and go to Camelot Landfill at 580 Huffines Blvd. in Lewisville on a Saturday between 8 AM and Noon, since the curb route refuses concrete, brick, tile, stone, blocks and railroad ties.
Get it ready
Cover the load with a tarp or tie it down because unsecured material is rejected at the gate, keep the volume inside the six cubic yard monthly allowance, and require a contractor to remove its own project debris rather than putting it at the curb.

The handoff matters

Right item.
Right place.

One collection day a week and a tight set out window

Trash and bulk waste are collected one day each week from Carrollton single-family homes, with the day shown on the city waste services map or confirmed on 972-466-4950. City ordinance wants the material at the designated collection point no earlier than 6 p.m. the evening before and no later than 6:30 a.m. of the collection day, and carts come back off the street no later than 9 a.m. the following day. Bins are placed at least three feet apart and three feet from mailboxes with the lid closed and facing the street, and code violations can be reported on 972-466-3060.

Bulk is a curb pile with a limit, and it is not a dumping ground

Bulk covers appliances, furniture, rugs, mattresses, televisions, tree limbs, fence material and similar large items, and the weekly allowance is three cubic yards of bulk plus three cubic yards of brush. Everything has to be generated on the property by the homeowner, so waste from another site will not be collected, and excess household trash that will not fit the green roll-out container is not bulk at all. Piles need three feet of clearance from bins, mailboxes, gas meters, fences and parked cars and 16 feet of clearance overhead, and limbs are cut into 4-foot lengths and bundled at no more than 40 pounds.

What the curb will not take, and where it goes instead

Brick, tile, stone, concrete blocks, railroad ties, tires and propane tanks are refused, as are very large items that cannot be picked up safely by two individuals, bulk or brush over three cubic yards each, and electronics, batteries, household chemicals, paint and automotive fluids. The alternatives are clear: construction debris, yard waste and household furniture and mattresses go to the Camelot Landfill drop-off on Saturdays inside the six cubic yard monthly allowance for the published fee, household hazardous waste and electronics come to the home through a free appointment, contractors are expected to remove their own project debris, and extra green carts or an off-schedule pickup can be arranged for a fee on 972-466-4950.

Drop the load at Camelot Landfill on a Saturday

A Carrollton resident with construction debris, yard waste or household furniture and mattresses that is outside the weekly curb allowance or on the refused list.

Cost & conditions
$18 per drop-off visit at Camelot Landfill, covering up to 6 cubic yards per month. Carrollton residents with a Texas driver's license and a City of Carrollton utility water bill showing the matching address, arriving in a personal vehicle without a commercial trailer.
Arrange it
Go to 580 Huffines Blvd. in Lewisville on a Saturday between 8 AM and Noon with the load covered by a tarp or tied down.

Six cubic yards a month at most, no household hazardous waste, no commercial vehicle or trailer loads, and unsecured or uncovered material is rejected at the gate.

With a new purchase

Have the contractor remove its own project debris

A household with a remodel, a demolition or a load of material the city refuses at the curb and that is too big for the monthly landfill allowance.

Cost & conditions
The city publishes no hauling rate and instead names the contractor route as the alternative for project debris, so the price comes from the contractor or hauler doing the work.
Arrange it
Write the removal into the contract before the work starts, or arrange a private hauler, and keep the material off the curb because masonry, tiles and railroad ties are refused there.

A privately hauled load still has to reach a permitted site, and the city's landfill drop-off will not accept a commercial vehicle or commercial trailer load.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Self hauling in Carrollton means one Saturday trip to Camelot Landfill at 580 Huffines Blvd. in Lewisville, between 8 AM and Noon, for a fee of eighteen dollars a visit and up to six cubic yards a month. The gate asks for a Texas driver's license together with a City of Carrollton utility water bill showing the matching address, and it turns away household hazardous waste, commercial vehicles or commercial trailers, and any load that is not covered by a tarp or tied down. Construction debris, yard waste and garbage items from inside the home such as furniture and mattresses are the accepted material, and the page helpfully sizes the load for you: a couch counts as about two cubic yards, a large refrigerator about one and three quarters, a queen mattress about one, and a washer or dryer about half a cubic yard. Anything that holds refrigerant still has to be confirmed emptied by a certified professional before it can be collected at the curb, and the free at-home appointment on 469-451-3713 is the route for paint, chemicals, batteries, bulbs, electronics and televisions. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Carrollton.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Carrollton?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Carrollton?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Can construction debris go out at the curb in Carrollton?

Not the heavy material. Brick, tile, stone, concrete blocks and railroad ties are on the city's not accepted list for the curb route, along with tires and propane tanks. Construction debris is accepted at the Camelot Landfill drop-off instead, up to six cubic yards a month for the published fee, on Saturdays from 8 AM to Noon with a Texas driver's license and a matching Carrollton water bill, and the load has to be covered or tied down or it is rejected.Official guidance
