Match the screen

Flat screen or tube? Start with the shape.

The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.

Flat-screen TVs

Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.

Tube TVs

An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.

TV stands and other electronics

The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Text us about your setup
  1. Arrange any unmounting first.

Dropcurb does not remove TVs from walls or do indoor carrying. Arrange the help you need before pickup day, including the trip down interior stairs or through an elevator.

  2. Choose a permitted outdoor spot.

Use a stable, accessible location with a clear path for loading. Keep the TV separate from anything staying. Check building rules before placing it in a shared pickup area.

  3. Show us the TV that is going.

Add a location photo and access notes after booking. Follow the readiness instructions in your confirmation. For exposed broken glass or unusual damage, send a photo and check with us before booking.

Televisions, computers and electronics

Not on the regular city route

Electronics are refused in bulk trash and in the recycling cart, and the town's route is the from home collection that Republic runs together with the household hazardous waste service.

City cost & eligibility
No fee is published for the from home electronics and hazardous waste collection. Call Republic Services at 469.451.3713 or use the town's online form, and confirm the current terms when the pickup is scheduled.
When & how
Book the pickup through the online form, by phone at 469.451.3713 or by email, expect a reply within 24 hours on business days, and put the items out by 7 a.m. on the scheduled day for collection between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Get it ready
Electronic items do not need a bag or label, but they must sit on the front porch where they can be seen from the street rather than at the curb. Keep electronics out of the trash cart, the recycling cart and any bulk pile, and wipe personal data before handover.

Right item.
Right place.

Carts out by 7 a.m., handles to the house

Trash goes in the cart, bagged, with the lid closed and no more than 100 pounds per cart, and recyclables stay loose rather than bagged. Carts go to the curb by 7 a.m. on the collection day, no earlier than 8 a.m. the day before and no later than 8 a.m. the day after, within two feet of the street edge with the handles facing the house so the lid opens toward the street and well clear of the mailbox.

Hazardous waste and electronics go on the porch, not the curb

Residents book a from home pickup and are mailed a kit with bags, labels and zip ties. Containers must hold five gallons or less, be sealed and labelled, with only like items together, and everything goes on the front porch visible from the street by 7 a.m. on the collection day, since Republic collects between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Electronic items need no bag or label.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Self haul in Flower Mound mostly means the Camelot Landfill at 580 Huffines Blvd in Lewisville, where residents may make one trip a month with up to ten cubic yards of waste at no charge. Bring the driver's licence or photo identification together with a Flower Mound water bill in the same resident name, cover the load, and bring a hard hat because none are loaned. Loads over ten cubic yards and non compactable items such as bricks, concrete and composition shingles cost extra, the free trip is not for commercial work, and the gate is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7 to 11:30 a.m. Household chemicals and electronics do not go to the landfill: the town runs a from home collection with Republic Services that residents book by form, by phone at 469.451.3713 or by email, with a kit mailed out for preparation and items placed on the front porch by 7 a.m. on the collection day. Clothing and small household goods can be donated through Donate 2 Impact at 972.619.7880, and the town's recycling page points residents to Time to Recycle and Recycle Texas Online for items the curbside programme will not take. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

TV removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Flower Mound.

How much does TV removal cost in Flower Mound?

A flat-screen TV under 42 inches is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Larger flat screens and tube TVs have their own prices. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Choose the type that matches your TV and review your total, including any applicable tax, before payment.

Can I get same-day TV pickup in Flower Mound?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates offered at checkout and have the TV outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done.

Will Dropcurb remove my TV from the wall or carry it downstairs?

You arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at an accessible outdoor location, where we load your TV and take it away. If you need help removing a mounted TV or moving a heavy tube TV outside, arrange that separately before your pickup day.

Do you pick up old tube or CRT televisions?

Yes. Choose Tube TV for an older television with curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Its price is $249 as the first item and $249 as an additional item. A rear-projection television is a different item; send a photo before booking rather than choosing the tube-TV option.

Does my old TV have to work?

Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.

Where do televisions and computers go in Flower Mound?

To the town's from home collection, which Republic Services runs by appointment. The accepted electronic list covers televisions, monitors, VCRs and DVD players, computers and laptops, keyboards and mice, scanners, printers and copiers, telephones and fax machines, microwave ovens, CD players, stereos and related cables.Official guidance

How are electronic items put out?

Residents receive a kit with bags, labels and zip ties for hazardous material, but electronic items need no bag or label. Everything goes on the front porch visible from the street rather than at the curb, by 7 a.m. on the collection day, and Republic collects between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.Official guidance

What will the town not take at the curb?

Hazardous and electronic waste, car parts, tires and non compactible items such as bricks and concrete are refused in bulk trash, batteries and electronics are refused in the recycling cart, and the recycling programme also refuses plastic bags, yard waste, food, polystyrene and scrap metal. Those loads go to the from home collection or the landfill instead.Official guidance
