Sherman residents can use the Citizens' Trash Drop-Off Station at 811 S. East Street on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings with a driver's license and current water bill, and the station publishes separate rates for loose material by the yard, appliances, tires and car batteries. The monthly call-in roadside program remains the better fit for larger household piles that can wait, and the City also sells paid pickups by the cubic yard with a minimum charge when the free monthly allowance is not enough.
