Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and home improvement debris

Special rules apply

Construction and home improvement debris is refused on the bulky collection, and the township publishes two paid routes instead: a local landfill or the Waste Management Bagster bag picked up from the driveway.

City cost & eligibility
The township states that both published options for construction and home improvement debris require a fee and publishes no rate for either, because the Bagster price is set by the hauler and the landfill gate price is set by the site. Confirm the current charge with Waste Management on 1-800-800-5804 or the receiving landfill before loading.
When & how
Arrange the Bagster pickup at thebagster.com or on 1-877-789-2247, or take the load to a local landfill, rather than setting it out for the bulky collection.
Get it ready
Keep concrete, bricks, roofing, doors, windows, sheetrock, drywall and insulation out of both carts and off the bulky pile, and check the Bagster acceptable material list and capacity before filling a bag, because the bag is rated for loads up to 3,000 pounds.
Township bulky oversized collection page with the no additional cost courtesy service, the two business day scheduling rule through Waste Management, the accepted list covering furniture, mattresses, appliances with a certified freon tag, carpet, fencing, ladders, long items and toilets, the refused list covering brush, construction and home improvement debris, electronics, extra trash bags tagged pink, small items and vehicles, and the cardboard and Bagster routes

Carts and trimmings out by 7 a.m.

Trash, recycling and yard trimmings all go out by 7 a.m. on the weekly service day, with clear access for the trucks and the trimmings at least four feet from the carts. Trash stays in the green-lidded cart and recycling in the yellow-lidded cart, clean, dry, empty and loose with cardboard flattened, and Waste Management answers a green tag violation on the next service day rather than returning.

The county route depends on the address

The Woodlands spans Harris and Montgomery counties, so the drop-off options split. The township recycling center and the battery box at Central Fire Station serve residents directly, Montgomery County Precinct 3 takes electronics, tires, scrap metal and construction material for a fee from Montgomery County addresses, and household chemicals go either to the Precinct 3 collection on Wednesdays and the third Saturday or to the appointment only Harris County site at 6900 Hahl Road in Houston.

With a new purchase

Use a Bagster bag for a project load

A household with a small renovation or cleanup load that the bulky collection refuses.

Cost & conditions
The township states that the Bagster route requires a fee and publishes no rate, because the bag is bought at a home improvement store and the pickup price is set by the hauler, so confirm the current charge on thebagster.com or 1-877-789-2247 and check the acceptable material list before filling a bag.
Arrange it
Buy a Bagster bag at a local home improvement store, fill it in the driveway, then schedule the pickup on thebagster.com or by calling 1-877-789-2247.

The bag holds up to 3,000 pounds, the acceptable material list and capacity limits are set by the hauler, and household chemicals, tires and electronics still need their own county routes.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

A Woodlands household has three self haul answers, and the first one depends on which county the address sits in. The Woodlands Recycling Center behind the Bear Branch Recreation Center at 5402 Research Forest Drive takes cans, cardboard, glass, paper, plastics numbered 1 to 5 and 7 and yard waste from township residents on Wednesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Batteries and cellphones go to the box at Central Fire Station on Grogan's Mill Road, open every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Montgomery County addresses use the Precinct 3 facility, which takes electronics, tires, scrap metal, yard waste and construction debris for fees and household chemicals every Wednesday and the third Saturday of the month for a per volume charge, while Harris County addresses use the appointment only household hazardous waste site at 6900 Hahl Road in Houston for paints, chemicals, automotive fluids, propane cylinders, up to five tires per visit and mercury thermometers. A yard waste load that does not meet the curbside rules can also go to Nature's Way Resources in Conroe, and a renovation load goes to a local landfill or into a Waste Management Bagster picked up from the driveway. The bulky collection itself is a curbside service rather than a drop off, and it has to be booked with Waste Management at least two business days in advance. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in The Woodlands.

How much does construction debris removal cost in The Woodlands?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in The Woodlands?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does construction debris go in The Woodlands?

Not in the carts and not on the bulky collection, which refuses construction and home improvement debris such as concrete, bricks, roofing, doors, windows, sheetrock, drywall and insulation. The township sends those loads to a local landfill or to a Waste Management Bagster picked up from the driveway, and both options carry a fee.Official guidance

Who collects trash in The Woodlands?

Waste Management collects under a contract with The Woodlands Township, which provides the service to residents as a courtesy at no charge. Each single family home gets a 96-gallon trash cart and a 96-gallon recycling cart collected once a week, plus weekly yard trimmings and a booked bulky collection. The hauler answers on 1-800-800-5804 and township Environmental Services on 281-210-3800.Official guidance

Why do some drop off options depend on my county?

The Woodlands spans Harris and Montgomery counties, and each county runs its own facilities for its own residents. Montgomery County Precinct 3 takes electronics, tires, scrap metal and construction debris for fees and household chemicals twice a week, while Harris County takes paints and chemicals by appointment at 6900 Hahl Road in Houston.Official guidance
