Twice a week trash routes split at the Kell Freeway
The City collects household trash twice a week, with Monday and Thursday for addresses north of the Kell Freeway and Tuesday and Friday for addresses south of it. Containers go out no later than 7 a.m. on the collection day, the cart is set at the curb clear of power lines and tree limbs with the wheels facing the house, and the ordinance requires limbs near the collection point to be trimmed to the published clearance so the automated vehicle is not damaged.
