Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

A load too big for the carts goes to a county transfer station at a per vehicle garbage rate or to a drop box at a per cubic yard rate, and residents unload their own vehicles.

From $30 per vehicle at a Snohomish County transfer station for a load of 360 pounds or less, with $160.00 per ton above that, while the county drop boxes charge $30.00 per cubic yard with a five cubic yard maximum per customer per load, and an unsecured load charge of 20 dollars for a vehicle under 8,000 pounds and 25 dollars for a heavier one. Self hauled residential loads at county facilities, where customers unload their own vehicles and the recycling areas are free for residential customers only.
When & how
The transfer stations take garbage and recycling seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the drop boxes keep shorter weekly schedules. All county facilities close on New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, and arrivals are asked to be at the gate at least 30 minutes before closing.
Get it ready
Cover and secure the load, because an unsecured load is charged an extra fee, and keep dangerous waste, moderate risk waste and yard or clean wood debris out of the load because county facilities refuse all three. At the drop boxes every item has to be under six feet long or under 25 square feet, except household sofas, appliances, mattresses, doors, carpets and rugs.
Exercise equipment is named on no page, so the machine is confirmed before it is hauled, and the county's metal stream is the likely route.

Weekly garbage, every other week recycling and a handful of holidays
Waste Management collects garbage every week and recycling every other week for Lake Stevens, with yard and food waste weekly for households that subscribe. Collection runs as usual on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day and Veterans Day, but no garbage is collected on Independence Day and a double garbage load is taken the following week. Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day push collection one day later for the rest of the week, and a household that cannot self haul can ask for a special pickup through the hauler's service page.

Self hauled loads go to a county transfer station between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. any day, or to a county drop box on its shorter weekly schedule, and all county facilities close on New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The county recycling area is free, but it refuses a lot
County recycling areas are free for residential customers only and take appliances without refrigerant, household batteries, motor oil up to 10 gallons a day, antifreeze, oil filters, lead acid batteries, fluorescent tubes and bulbs, glass bottles and jars, tin and aluminum cans, propane tanks of barbecue size, lawn mowers with the fluids drained and the battery removed, and scrap metal 8 feet or less that is 85 percent metal or more. They refuse electronics and send them to E-Cycle Washington, refuse mattresses and take them as garbage only, refuse refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, heat pumps and dehumidifiers and send those to appliance recyclers, and refuse yard or clean wood debris at every facility.
