City cost & eligibility
From $30 for Dubuque Road Drop Box minimum for up to one cubic yard. Accepted ordinary garbage load within the five-cubic-yard maximum; additional volume and hard-to-handle treatment can change the total.
When & how
Use the Dubuque Road Drop Box Friday through Tuesday and arrive at least 30 minutes before closing.
Get it ready
Keep the mattress with the garbage portion of the load. Secure it for travel and unload it yourself.
Dubuque Road customers unload their own vehicles and should arrive before the final processing window. Keep dangerous waste and yard debris out of the county load.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Will you carry my mattress downstairs or out of my apartment?+
Dropcurb starts outside. You arrange to move the mattress out of your apartment and down interior stairs before pickup. We load it and take it away from an accessible outdoor spot. Check your building’s access rules before arranging the move outside.
Can you pick up my old mattress when my new one arrives?+
You can choose an offered pickup day around your replacement delivery. First check whether the retailer already includes old-mattress removal, and arrange who will bring it outside if needed. Dropcurb books a pickup day, not the retailer’s delivery window. Contact us before booking if access is limited to a short time.
Is a mattress recycled at the Snohomish drop box?+
No. The county lists mattresses and covered springs as garbage. The drop box size exception covers household mattresses, but the load still follows garbage fees and limits.Official guidance
