Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

  1. Arrange the removal work

Have the fixture safely detached and any plumbing or electrical connections handled by an appropriate professional. We do not remove installed fixtures or perform demolition.

  2. Keep the booked items separate

Have the fixtures empty and ready at ground level. Keep them apart from rubble, loose renovation materials, tools and anything you want to keep.

  3. Show the outdoor handoff

Use a permitted outdoor spot with a clear path. Add a location photo and notes on your order page so the right entrance and the right items are easy to identify.

Construction, demolition and remodeling material

Special rules apply

Building material, fencing and roofing are refused on Call-2-Haul. A project load goes to the recovery and transfer center or into a temporary drop-off box, with the price depending on the load.

City cost & eligibility
The transfer center disposal fees depend on the weight of the load and the customer class, and the rate table did not print here, so confirm the charge for a project load on (253) 502-2100 before hauling it.
When & how
Take the load to the Tacoma Recovery & Transfer Center during its open hours, or arrange a temporary drop-off box for a large project.
Get it ready
Separate roofing, concrete, demolition and yard waste from general debris, because the customer has to set up an account with the recycling company that handles those materials, and keep the load out of a Call-2-Haul set out.

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Tacoma.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Tacoma?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Tacoma?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does remodeling debris go in Tacoma?

Building material, fencing and roofing are refused on Call-2-Haul, so a project load goes to the Tacoma Recovery & Transfer Center or into a temporary drop-off box. Roofing, concrete, demolition and yard waste have to go to a recycling company the customer sets up directly, and the disposal charge depends on the load.Official guidance

Who collects garbage in Tacoma?

Tacoma runs its own municipal Solid Waste Utility, which serves residential and commercial customers with curbside garbage, recycling and food and yard waste collection, and it also runs the Tacoma Recovery & Transfer Center for self-haul loads. The monthly bill is set by the size of the garbage container.Official guidance

How many bulky pickups does a Tacoma household get?

A residential Solid Waste customer can schedule two curbside pickups or self-hauls a year, with the cost already built into residential rates. Each pickup takes up to three large items and up to fifteen boxes or bags of smaller items, and an over-limit set out uses a double pickup.Official guidance

Where do Tacoma televisions and computers go?

Televisions, computers and monitors are not accepted on Call-2-Haul. They are recycled free through E-Cycle Washington collection sites, and cell phones, batteries and chargers recycle free at the Tacoma Recycling Center, the Tacoma Municipal Building and the Tacoma Public Utilities lobby. Small electronics such as radios and printers can go in a Call-2-Haul bag allowance.Official guidance
