Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction, demolition and inert material

Special rules apply

Inert material such as concrete, rock, dirt and brick does not go to the county transfer stations and goes to a private inert landfill instead, with asbestos testing required before demolition or remodeling.

City cost & eligibility
The county lists the Filion Inert Landfill in Cashmere and the Waste Management regional landfill in Douglas County for inert material, and it charges appliances and heavy loads differently at its own stations, but no inert tipping rate is published on the retained pages, so confirm the receiving site and the charge before a project load moves.
When & how
Call the Filion Inert Landfill on 782-1010 or the Waste Management regional landfill on 884-2802 about the load, and keep concrete, rock, dirt and inert material out of the general transfer station loads.
Get it ready
Keep roofing and demolition material out of the inert category because the county says inert waste does not include materials from a structure, call Chelan County Public Works on 667-6415 about asbestos testing before a demolition or remodeling job, and remember that the transfer stations refuse dirt, rock, concrete and rigid items over 6 feet.

The city contracts the hauler, the hauler does the billing

Wenatchee's utility billing department handles water, sewer and storm drain services, and the city contracts Waste Management Inc. for garbage, recycling and yard waste collection. Waste Management is responsible for collection and billing of both residential and commercial solid waste customers, so a household starting, stopping or changing service calls the hauler on (877) 466-4668 or goes to wmnorthwest.com/wenatchee rather than calling City Hall. The city utility customer service desk answers on (509) 888-3600 and sits at 301 Yakima Street, Wenatchee, WA 98801, open 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.

The Wenatchee station prices loads in bands and items by the piece

The Wenatchee Transfer Station at 1421 South Wenatchee Avenue is operated by Waste Management for Chelan County, takes cash or credit card only, and opens to the public Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm, closed Mondays and on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. A general load costs a minimum charge up to 1,000 pounds, then a tonnage rate above that, while green waste runs on its own two rates under and over 500 pounds. A single item of furniture has its own price, tires cost more with the rim attached and are limited to six per load, and the station adds a variable energy charge, a Chelan and Douglas Health District charge of 1 per ton, Washington State solid waste tax of 3.6 percent and a Wenatchee utility tax of 19.05 percent. Paint is only accepted once it is completely dried out, sharps go in a labeled puncture resistant container at no charge, and hazardous waste is refused.

Two more county stations, and inert loads go elsewhere

Chelan County runs a second station at Dryden and a third at Chelan. Dryden on Highway 2 is open Tuesday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with no loads after 3:45 p.m. and charges by the ton with a minimum under 480 pounds, a separate appliance schedule that covers up to two units without refrigerant and charges extra for refrigeration and air conditioning units, lower rates for brush, motor oil at 2 per gallon, a scrap metal minimum and tire prices by the piece, while refusing dirt, rock, concrete, asbestos, propane tanks, liquids and hazardous waste. The Chelan station on Highway 97A charges by the cubic yard with a minimum under one cubic yard, takes appliances and scrap metal by the cubic yard, and adds electronics recycling, free cardboard recycling and tires. Inert material such as sand, concrete, glass, asphalt, rock, brick and dirt does not go to the county stations at all: the county directs it to the Filion Inert Landfill in Cashmere or Waste Management's regional landfill in Douglas County, and inert waste does not include roofing or demolition material from a structure, which also means asbestos testing before a demolition or remodeling job.

Take inert material to a private landfill

A household or project with sand, concrete, rock, brick, tile, dirt or sod, or with demolition material from a structure.

Cost & conditions
The county names the Filion Inert Landfill in Cashmere and Waste Management's regional landfill in Douglas County for inert material but publishes no tipping rate on the retained pages, so confirm the charge and the accepted material with the landfill before hauling.
Arrange it
Call the Filion Inert Landfill on 782-1010 or the Waste Management regional landfill on 884-2802, describe the load, and confirm the hours and the rate before leaving.

Inert waste does not include roofing or demolition material from a structure, so those loads need their own arrangement, and the county requires asbestos testing before demolition or remodeling begins, with Chelan County Public Works on 667-6415 able to give testing options.

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Wenatchee.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Wenatchee?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Wenatchee?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does Wenatchee construction debris go?

Inert material such as sand, concrete, glass, asphalt, rock, cinder block, brick, ceramic and dirt goes to the Filion Inert Landfill in Cashmere on 782-1010 or Waste Management's regional landfill in Douglas County on 884-2802, because the county transfer stations refuse dirt, rock and concrete. The county notes that inert waste does not include roofing or demolition material from a structure, and state law requires asbestos testing before demolition or remodeling, with Chelan County Public Works on 667-6415 able to give options for testing.Official guidance

Who collects Wenatchee garbage and recycling?

Waste Management Inc. does, under the city contract, and it is responsible for collection and billing of both residential and commercial solid waste customers, including recycling and yard waste. New service or a stop and start goes through the hauler on (877) 466-4668 or wmnorthwest.com/wenatchee, not through the city. The city utility desk bills water, sewer and storm drain only, answers on (509) 888-3600 and is open 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday at 301 Yakima Street.Official guidance

What does the Wenatchee Transfer Station charge?

A general load has a minimum charge up to 1,000 pounds, then a tonnage rate above that, while green waste runs on lower rates under and over 500 pounds and a single item of furniture has its own price. Tires cost more with the rim attached and are limited to six per load. Fees and taxes are added, including a variable energy charge, a Chelan and Douglas Health District charge of 1 per ton, Washington State solid waste tax of 3.6 percent and a Wenatchee utility tax of 19.05 percent. The station takes cash or credit card only and is open Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm.Official guidance

Where do Wenatchee appliances go?

The county's published appliance rates sit at its own stations. Dryden on Highway 2 charges a minimum fee for appliances without refrigerant that covers up to two units, a small charge for each additional unit without refrigerant, and a higher per unit charge for refrigeration and air conditioning units. The Chelan station charges by the cubic yard for appliances and scrap metal with the same higher charge for refrigerant units. The Wenatchee Transfer Station publishes no appliance rate, so call 509-662-8885 before taking one there.Official guidance

Where do Wenatchee hazardous and inert waste go?

Hazardous waste is not accepted at the Wenatchee Transfer Station, and the county usually hosts a household hazardous waste event twice a year through the Chelan-Douglas Health District or County Solid Waste. Inert material such as sand, concrete, glass, asphalt, rock, cinder block, brick, ceramic and dirt goes to the Filion Inert Landfill in Cashmere on 782-1010 or Waste Management's regional landfill in Douglas County on 884-2802, because the county stations refuse dirt, rock and concrete. Inert waste does not include roofing or demolition material from a structure, and state law requires asbestos testing before demolition or remodeling begins.Official guidance
