Will the city take it?
Menomonee Falls uses scheduled bulk collection for qualifying household furniture. Construction waste, appliances, electronics and yard material require different arrangements; annual resident events have their own limits.
Building materials and contractor-generated debris are excluded from the ordinary bulk program. Some listed small household fixtures have specific exceptions.

Describe each item before scheduling. Homeowner carpet and padding must be rolled within four feet and sixty pounds; concrete, shingles, plaster and sheetrock are excluded.
Residents can bring their own property’s yard waste to Orchard Ridge using the Village permit program. Yard material is excluded from household bulk.

Do my items need to be outside when I book?+
You can book while your items are still inside. Arrange any indoor carrying and have everything outside and accessible according to your confirmation. We load and haul it away from there. Contact us before booking if your property has restricted access.
How do I arrange a couch or mattress pickup?+
Contact WM at least seven days before your normal garbage day. Confirm the exact items and quote. The annual spring collection and autumn drop-off event have separate limits and dates.Official guidance
How does the yard-waste permit work?+
The permit allows thirty-five visits from April through December, no more than one per day. The resident must bring material from their own property; other visits are charged by weight.Official guidance
