Check the program before you go
Separate reuse donations from computer-recycling programs. A center that accepts working donations is not necessarily a participating recycling site, and a local recycling program is not automatically a TV program. Confirm the current location, accepted item type and schedule before loading the item into your vehicle.
Check Salvation Army’s separate TV acceptance rules before treating a computer-recycling program as a television option.

If donation is not available
For accepted laptops or desktop computers already outside and accessible, Dropcurb handles loading, transport and disposal. You can book before moving the item outside, but it must be ready at the pickup location before collection. Dropcurb does not provide indoor carry-out or promise donation or secure data erasure; if you need indoor carrying, choose a service that includes that labor.
