When & how
Call CR&R customer service at (877) 728-0446 to book the on-call bulky item pickup, and put the item at the curb for the day they give you. Carts go out by 6:30 am, but a bulky item waits for its own booked day.
Get it ready
A bulky item has to be manageable by a two-person crew, so empty the unit, keep it dry and whole, and leave it where the crew can reach it. Keep anything outside the carts that is not booked off the curb, because the city guide says items placed outside of carts will not be collected.
Carts go to the curbside no later than 6:30 am on collection day, with the handles and wheels facing toward the home, side by side about 1 foot apart and at least 3 feet from any obstruction such as a fire hydrant or a tree. Carts come back in within 12 hours after service, and items placed outside of carts are not collected.
A bulky item is anything that will not fit in the automated carts and that a two-person crew can manage, and CR&R collects bulky items and white goods from the curbside by arrangement. The rate sheet prices the on-call pickup for up to four items, and larger containers from three yards to forty yards can be ordered for clean-out projects.
