No charge. An appliance counts as a bulky item inside the four free collections each calendar year, with up to five items per collection. Additional items and extra trips are charged at the published rates.

Schedule with Burrtec at (909) 889-1969 and set the unit out on your regular collection day for the separate bulky truck.
Get it ready
Empty the appliance and keep it upright and out of the carts. Batteries are not collected in any cart in California, so remove and route any battery separately, and keep refrigerant or hazardous material questions for the hauler when you call.
All trash, recyclables and organic waste must fit completely inside the appropriate cart with the lid fully closed. Extra bags, boxes or loose items placed beside the carts are not collected, so a load that will not fit needs a bulky pickup or a container instead.
Bulky pickups are scheduled with Burrtec at (909) 889-1969 and are collected on the regular collection day by a different truck than the carts. Up to four collections a year are free with five items each, extra items and extra trips carry published charges, and the items have to be set where the agent directs so they are not left behind.
