Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

The hauler defines a bulky item by size, as something too large to fit in the trash barrel, and names furniture, mattresses and appliances. Exercise equipment is not named, so a treadmill or weight bench has to be confirmed when the pickup is booked.
City cost & eligibility
A machine that is too large for the cart would ride one of the four free bulky collections, but the published list does not name exercise equipment. Call Burrtec at (909) 889-1969 and confirm the piece and how it counts against the five item limit before it goes out.

Confirm with Burrtec when you schedule, then set the machine out on your regular collection day for the separate bulky truck.
Get it ready
Take off loose weights and accessories, keep the machine out of the carts, and have it ready to move in one piece so the crew can lift it.
All trash, recyclables and organic waste must fit completely inside the appropriate cart with the lid fully closed. Extra bags, boxes or loose items placed beside the carts are not collected, so a load that will not fit needs a bulky pickup or a container instead.
Bulky pickups are scheduled with Burrtec at (909) 889-1969 and are collected on the regular collection day by a different truck than the carts. Up to four collections a year are free with five items each, extra items and extra trips carry published charges, and the items have to be set where the agent directs so they are not left behind.

Which option covers a Peloton, spin bike or recumbent bike?+
Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
