Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction, demolition and remodeling debris

Not on the regular city route

Construction and demolition material is not on Ontario's bulky item list and no city construction route is published, so a renovation load has to be arranged privately. Wood waste is the one piece accepted, and only at the community cleanup events.

City cost & eligibility
The city publishes no construction and demolition collection rate because the material is not part of its residential programmes, so a private container company or receiving facility quotes the load.
When & how
Arrange the container or receiving facility before the project generates debris, and keep the material out of the bulky appointment, the carts and the household hazardous waste facility.
Get it ready
Wood waste including lumber is accepted at the community cleanup events on the four published 2026 dates, but everything else from a project has to go through a private arrangement. Keep concrete, dirt, drywall, roofing and demolition material away from the curbside programmes.

Four cleanup events a year take the awkward items

The city holds community cleanup events on Saturday February 7, Saturday May 9, Saturday August 15 and Saturday November 21 in 2026, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 1425 S. Bon View Avenue. Besides the usual bulky material, the events take passenger car tires up to a maximum of four, scrap metal and wood waste including lumber, and about 70 per cent of what they collect is recycled. They are open to Ontario residents only.

The hazardous waste site is free, small and residents only

The household hazardous waste facility at 1430 S. Cucamonga Avenue is open Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and there is no charge. A vehicle may carry no more than 15 gallons of hazardous waste in containers no larger than 5 gallons, the programme is for residents rather than businesses, and a free reuse centre lets residents take partially used products left by others.

Arrange a private route for renovation debris

A household or contractor with construction or demolition material that the city programmes do not take.

Cost & conditions
The city publishes no construction and demolition rate, so a private container company or receiving facility quotes the load.
Arrange it
Contact a private container company or receiving facility before the project starts, and keep the material out of the bulky appointment and the carts.

Wood waste is the only project material the city accepts, and only at the four cleanup events, so everything else has to be arranged privately.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Ontario runs its own programmes, so the routes are the city's rather than a hauler's. Curbside bulky items take an appointment, with four free collections a calendar year and no more than five large items each, covering furniture and mattresses, appliances and water heaters, bundled or bagged green waste, electronic waste and carpet; apartment and condominium residents book through their property manager. Four community cleanup events a year at the Public Works yard add passenger tires up to four, scrap metal and wood waste to the mix, and they are residents-only. Everything hazardous goes to the city household hazardous waste facility at 1430 S. Cucamonga Avenue on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., free, with a 15 gallon transport limit in containers no larger than 5 gallons, and that site takes electronic waste and universal waste as well. Construction and demolition material has no city route at all, apart from wood waste at the cleanup events, so a renovation load needs a private container or receiving facility. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Ontario.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Ontario?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Ontario?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Will Ontario take construction debris as a bulky item?

No. Construction material is not on the acceptable bulky list, and the city publishes no construction and demolition route. Wood waste including lumber is accepted at the community cleanup events on the four published dates in 2026, and everything else from a project has to be arranged privately.Official guidance

Who do I call about waste in Ontario?

The city's Integrated Waste Department answers at (909) 395-2800 and the bulky item page gives (909) 395-2050 for appointments, so either line reaches the department. The recycling hotline is (909) 395-2040, abandoned items on roadways are reported to Debris Removal at (909) 395-2639, and businesses needing hazardous waste service contact San Bernardino County at (909) 382-5401.Official guidance

Does Ontario require food waste in the green bin?

Yes. Since January 1, 2022 SB 1383 has applied to all Ontario residents, single-family homes and apartments or condominiums alike, and the existing green waste bin also collects food waste. Businesses and larger multi-family properties have their own obligations under AB 341 and AB 1826 and can subscribe to the city's services at (909) 395-2800 or file a waiver.Official guidance

Where are Ontario's waste rates published?

The Integrated Waste page links the current rates for Integrated Waste services effective November 1, 2025 and a rate effective July 1, 2026, so the published schedule is the place to check a cart or service charge rather than assuming one. Bulky collections for residents remain free within the four appointment allowance.Official guidance
